Natalie didn’t leave Scarlet Villa immediately. 

Instead, she went to another room and called Stephen. Soon, the call was answered. 

“Nat!” 

“Uncle, I want to come back to Simeria,” Natalie tentatively said. 

Stephen was stunned. 

“What’s going on?” 

“There are some things on Sylvan Gems’s side that will probably take a few days to handle. I miss you and 

want to come back to see you!” 

“No need. We’ve got some issues at headquarters recently, and I won’t have time to spend with you if you 

come back,” Stephen replied. 

It had been many years, and Stephen probably had never been this busy before. There was a hint of 

exasperation in his words to Natalie at this moment. 

Natalie closed her eyes. 

She understood the meaning behind Cedric’s words.

“What do you think?” Cedric responded with a question. 

The two stared at each other, and Natalie wished she could see into the man’s heart through those deep 

eyes. 

However, she ultimately failed. 

Her heart continued to pound wildly in her chest. 

“Don’t think too much. If you can’t think of it, why bother adding to your worries, hmm?” Cedric said. 

Natalie remained silent. 

Her mind was in chaos. 

She had to admit… Cedric had almost driven her crazy in the shortest time possible.
