Chapter 173 Retaliation 

Natalie felt her chest tightened. 

Cedric, he…! 

He really dared to do anything. 

There were two photos attached to the report. Both were of her biting him, but the look in her eyes had 

clearly been edited! 

[Did Mr. Johnson really divorce Mrs. Johnson? It doesn’t seem like it!] 

[Will there soon be a reconciliation between Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Johnson?!] 

Those were among the various headlines that were written.

Natalie ruthlessly swept the computer from the meeting table to the ground. 

Only God knew how reluctant she was to involve herself in such rumors with Cedric. And now, these 

reports…! 

Without needing to think, she knew that she and Cedric would be even more popular than public figures 

for a long time to come. 

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. 

Cedric’s name flashed on the screen of her phone, but she ignored it. 

Natalie rushed out of the meeting room. 

Zane was waiting outside. When he saw Natalie coming out and how angry she looked, he hurriedly

“Handle the meeting here, I have urgent matters to attend to!”

Zane obviously hadn’t seen the reports yet! 

During working hours, they were all very busy. Cedric had taken advantage of this fact and left her with no 

time to react 

Half an hour later, Natalie stormed into Radiant Tower 

When Lucas saw her, he approached and respectfully said. “Ma- Ms. Walker!” 

He quickly changed how he addressed her due to the stern look on her face. He had to admit that despite her petite stature, Natalie did radiate a powerful presence. 

“Where is he?” She said, the anger still evident in her voice. 

Upon seeing Natalie, everyone in the secretary department quickly turned their attention to their own 

work. 

Natalie wasn’t someone to be trifled with, and they had witnessed it in recent times. 

But there were a few people who looked at Natalie in disdain due to their previous association with 

Isabella. 

Natalie didn’t have time to deal with them now, nor did she notice. 

“Mr. Johnson is waiting for you inside!” Lucas replied. 

Her high heels clicked loudly against the floor as she made her way to the CEO’s office. 

Then, everyone inhaled sharply as she kicked the office door with such force that it immediately flew 

open! 

Everyone was shocked and tensed instantly. 

Natalie was obviously in a terrible mood. 

She was behaving completely differently from before. 

Cedric was already waiting for her. Hearing the commotion, he looked towards the door and saw Natalie 

glaring at him with fire in her eyes! 

“Cedric, what is this?! Explain yourself!” 

She walked in and slammed the door shut! 

The sound echoed loudly through the air, and everyone in the secretary department shuddered. 

Someone approached Lucas and said, “Mr. Smith, it seems that the lady boss’s temperament has changed after the divorce!” 

“Do you think she could be the CEO of Sylvan Gems with how she was before?” Lucas shot back calmly. 

The person who asked the previous question immediately shut his mouth! 

As the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover.

He didn’t look at her or respond to her words. Instead, he asked, “Does your uncle know?”

The man raised his eyebrows. He was looking at her as if everything was under his control! 

Natalie’s original arrogance diminished with Cedric acting this way. However, it didn’t stop her anger from 

climbing further,

“Irwin will probably be coming back soon!” 

Now Natalie understood. 

Cedric wanted everyone to know that he and Natalie were still together before Irwin returned. He forcefully cut off her retreat, leaving her with nowhere to escape! 

Natalie’s chest heaved heavily when she thought about this. “Cedric, you’re truly the most shameless person in the world!”

She anxiously broke into a cold sweat. 

“Ms. Walker,” a woman’s voice came from behind. 

Natalie hung up the phone and turned around. It was an unfamiliar face, but it was a beautiful woman! 

“Who are you?”

The elevator door opened, yet the woman continued to smile at her. 

Natalie was already upset about her situation with Cedric, and now this woman was picking a fight over 

Isabella’s matters! 

She couldn’t contain the burning rage in her bones and erupted!

Two resounding slaps landed harshly on Queenie’s face, and Natalie said wamingly, “Please shut your mouth. I don’t have any sisters!”

Having said that, Natalie left without waiting for Queenie’s reaction. 

Queenie stood in a faze in the elevator. It was a long time before she returned to her senses. By the time she did, Natalie was already far away!
