Chapter 25 The Turmoil in the Johnson Family Three Months Later 

Three months had passed. 

Cedric had been anxiously searching for Natalie, and the people around him were on edge every day. 

One morning, Yuvan saw a photo in an international media outlet. It was just a profile shot, but he immediately recognized it as Natalie. 

Without hesitation, he went to Cedric’s office and handed him the phone, saying, “There’s some news 

about Madam.” 

Cedric, who was about to sign some documents, froze for a moment before immediately putting down

Natalie held some documents as she entered an office with the man.

Her seriousness resembled that of her mother. Natalie herself had never expected to enter the workforce so quickly after leaving Verde City. 

The sound of a lighter flicking and the smell of smoke reached her senses, both of which she disliked. She looked at the man lighting a cigarette and said, “Uncle, the doctor told you to smoke less.”

Natalie’s furrowed brow relaxed as she continued to organize the documents. 

During these three months abroad, her life had dramatically transformed as if she were in a dream. 

She had never imagined that she would still have an uncle alive in this world. When her parents passed away, her grandmother had also left this world after witnessing her daughter’s death. None of them had been able to leave any instructions for Natalie in their final moments.
