Chapter 34 Cedric’s Explosive Rage 

Natalie didn’t answer his question. She simply gazed at him in silence. 

The conversation she had with Bianca in the car had deeply touched her. 

Now, her eyes were only filled with coldness as she looked at Cedric. 

There was also an underlying disbelief! 

She found it hard to believe that this man, who she hadn’t thought would ever lay a hand on her due to 

Isabella, would do so.

“What were you thinking when you hit me for Isabella?” Natalie asked suddenly. 

Cedric responded, “What?” 

“When you hit me for Isabella, what was going through your mind?” 

As those words left her mouth, Cedric’s eye twitched in annoyance. His eyes showed traces of smoldering anger. 

“Do you really think I hit you for her?” 

“Wasn’t it?” 

The man fell silent. The rage in his eyes burned so brightly that it looked like it would explode at any 

moment. 

And as Natalie looked at him, it was as though she was staring at a stranger. When had they reached such a level of mutual distrust? These thoughts had never crossed her mind before, but now… 

She took a deep breath. “I should go.” 

Seeing Cedric being silent only made her feel colder. No, she was already emotionally dead. So even the feeling of heartache repulsed her. 

“Do you think I won’t find out if you don’t answer me?” 

Cedric tightened his grip on her wrist. 

What else do you want? Natalle asked. “Isn’t this enough?”

“Yes, sir.” 

“Go!” 

Natalie could easily guess what Cedric had told Yuvan to inquire about. 

She felt her forehead throbbing even as Cedric’s breath became increasingly rapid. 

Yuvan, who had spent many years by Cedric’s side, had been trained under difficult conditions and could quickly retrieve information. 

Of course, Natalie leaving the country last time was an unexpected incident. 

Soon, Yuvan stood behind Cedric. When he looked at Natalie, there was a trace of something unusual in his expression.

Yuvan was obviously anxious, and Cedric could clearly sense it. 

Yuvan lowered his head and said, “Mrs. Johnson came here for a medical examination.” 

Cedric tensed. 

The look in Cedric’s eyes wasn’t just anger.

When in Cedric’s presence, anyone could feel an immense pressure.

Cedric’s eyes narrowed as he gazed at the petite face before him that was now displaying an unprecedented determination. 

He had been caught up in Isabella’s affairs recently, so he had been neglecting the lawsuit agreement she had presented. 

But Natalie’s recent actions had escalated to the point where it was impossible to ignore. 

Now, what was he going to do? 

Not only had she engaged in such embarrassing behavior, but she also intended to win the lawsuit?!

Stepping around him, she reached for the door of the hospital room. However, the dangerous tone in the man’s voice from behind caught her attention. 

“Natalle, since you insist, don’t blame me for being ruthless.” 

Natalie’s hand on the door handle came to a halt.

Having experienced this life before, Natalie was no longer afraid of him. 

She simply left with the parting words: “Do what you want. I’m ready whenever you are.” 

With that, she opened the door and left, leaving Cedric to fume silently behind. 

Cedric stood in the darkness, thinking about her words. 

He had no idea his little wife would change so drastically in just one night.

Natalie walked out of the room and bumped into Christina in the corridor. That was how she learned that Rebecca was a patient at this hospital. 

Upon seeing Natalie, it became almost instinctive for Christina to come forward and berate her.

Natalie was frozen in place. She had seen him lose his composure due to Isabella’s situation earlier, and now she witnessed it again. 

Her heart couldn’t help but clench. 

Christina stood behind her, taunting her. “See that? Ced’s heart no longer belongs to you.” 

Natalie turned back to look at the triumphant Christina
