Chapter 85 Playing Him 

There was no doubt that Natalie’s greatest concern right now was Cedric’s potential change of heart! 

They had been caught up in this matter for so long. She always felt powerless no matter what she did, 

though she didn’t used to care! 

However, she couldn’t ignore the risk of public opinion turning against her if she did anything excessive 

while being Cedric’s wife! 

Just as she was about to say something to provoke him, Cedric eventually spoke, “I’ve thought this 

through; we’re getting a divorce.” 

Although his attitude wasn’t firm enough, his determination was unmistakable at this moment. 

Perhaps it was better to proceed with the divorce. 

Even if they continued to stay together, it wouldn’t necessarily be a good thing.

Cedric stood rooted to the spot. The air around him grew colder as time passed.

Cedric seemed to have forgotten that the current Natalie was no longer the obedient daughter–in–law of the Johnson Family, where whatever he said was the law.

Natalie looked at Bianca with a hint of sadness in her eyes. 

“You never would have expected this, right? That he would propose such a crazy condition!” 

Even though Natalie had experienced it once, she still couldn’t stop her heart from hurting!

She didn’t even need to ask, the answer was clear.

like that? Did she even understand the consequences of such a decision for herself?

She was a lawyer, and she knew well that this was illegal. So, forget about how Natalie had only verbally agreed. Even if she had signed a contract and later wanted to renege, Cedric couldn’t sue her.

At the hospital, Rebecca once again stood outside Isabella’s hospital room.
