While wandering around the eighth floor, Daisy’s small frame inadvertently collided with someone’s legs. The man who happened to be Alex, turned around, revealing a surprised expression as he met the familiar face of the little girl with pigtail.
Daisy looked up, immediately rubbing her nose that had bumped into Axel.
“I’m sorry,” she apologized with sincerity, her innocent eyes looking up at him.

“Why are you here?” Axel asked gently, curious about the unexpected encounter.
Daisy shrugged and sighed heavily. “I dunno,” she replied, her pout conveying a mix of boredom and curiosity.
“So you just strolled off?” Axel inquired, trying to understand the little adventurer’s motives.
“I got bored because Liam’s not there. Do you know where other kids are?” she asked, Axel

The confined space of the elevator made the atmosphere awkward as the two stood side by side. Seeking to break the silence, Axel asked, “So, what’s in the bag?” It was big but didn’t look like it weighed much.
Daisy, displaying the eloquence of a seasoned storyteller, began listing her treasures, “My doll and carrot plushie, duckie plushie, and the egg that looks like a tomato. A burst of unbridled joy accompanied her next revelation, And my puppy plushie!” She giggled with infectious happiness.
