Jorge wasn’t aware that Zoe had a high fever. So, he left as soon as he sent Zoe back to her apartment.
Her return to Brookesville was both short-term and decided at the last moment. She didn’t hire a servant or maid, which meant the house. was vacant, and felt a little lonely. She had no intention of eating or drinking. Instead, she straightaway lay down on her soft, comfy bed.
Then, she started thinking about Mason. She recalled their past history and mulled over their future. After some time, she dozed off and had a dream.
She was back to being eighteen years old again. That was the first time something stirred in her heart when she saw Mason.
There was a huge party at the Lockwood Manor.
She attended the party with Mia. She was just eighteen years old, but she was already an outstandingly beautiful girl. Lisa favored her and treated her kindly back then.
The party F just been going on for half an hour when she had her first period. She was a late bloomer, so she was caught unaware. To make matters worse, she wore a white dress to the party. Mia wanted to take her home, but Lisa offered to help her clean up instead.
It just so happened that Mia needed to talk to some guests, so she thanked Lisa and passed Zoe over to her.
Then, Zoe was led to a bedroom on the third floor. The furnishings suggested that it was the master bedroom. She felt a little uneasy, but Lisa assured her that it was a guest room.

A tall figure stepped into the room. It was the twenty-two-year-old Mason. He skipped parties because he disliked them and had just come back from basketball. The moment he returned home, he couldn’t wait to hop into the shower and clean himself.
Something was bothering him so much that he didn’t notice anything unusual with bathroom. Then, he opened the partition and

Covering herself frantically, she said feebly, “Get out of here.”
Wrapping himself in a towel, it occurred to him that she was Gordon’s precious daughter. He was quite upset at this turn of events. “You’re barely an adult. How are you trying to seduce me already? Who let you take a shower in my bathroom?”

He wouldn’t be able to explain himself if anyone saw her in his room. If memory served him right, she was merely eighteen years old.
