I Refuse to Divorce! by Light Breeze Chapter 445

Chapter 445

Gwynn’s face turned pale.

Lowering her head, she traced across her belly with her lean fingers.

It was unbelievable.

She was pregnant and the first thing her husband asked was if it was his baby.

Who else could’ve impregnated her? Did he think Maddox was the father of her baby?

In

the past couple of years, she had fallen head over heels for Noah, as if she was under his spell. As time went by, however, she began to realize that he didn’t love her in the least. It was made especially clear when she saw the picture of him hugging and kissing another lady.

She wasn’t a fool. She also did her own investigations into the past.

Liam’s assistant hadn’t been forthright with her back then. All she said was for her to stay away from Noah because he was anything but decent and he saw her brother as his arch-enemy.

Not only did she get closer to him, but she even got married to him

year ago.

Gwynn didn’t explain herself to him.

Curling up herself, she bent downward slightly, as if trying to shield. her fetus from any harm. She murmured, “Do you want to keep the baby?”

It was one of the hardest questions in the world…

After a brief moment, Noah still remained quiet and didn’t offer up any answer. However, his silence was all the answer she needed.

He suspected that the baby wasn’t his. That meant the safest way to deal with this was to stop her from giving birth to the baby. On the other hand, perhaps he still wouldn’t have let her keep the baby even if it was his. After all, he was only in this to take revenge on Liam.

Still curling up, she said in the softest voice possible, “I’ll abort the baby, then!”

She was stuck in a cruel, loveless marriage. Noah was clearly more powerful than her. So, there was no way she could protect her baby if anything happened. Perhaps, subconsciously, she also didn’t want to give birth to his baby!

With that, she raised her eyes and met his gaze. They were red and filled with tears, but there was a fighting spirit that had never been

there before.

It seemed that she had learned about everything!

Noah’s eyes grew dark. He was seemingly judging her and lost in a deep thought at the same time.

She had been naked all this time. Underneath the glow of the crystal. chandelier, she looked like a farm animal, waiting to be slaughter.

About five minutes later, he asked nonchalantly, “Have you slept him?”

She responded, “No!”

She didn’t want to say it at first, but she was hoping against hope tha he’d come around. She said embarrassingly, “I want to know how it felt to be loved for real. Do you know how that feels, Noah?”

Needless to say, he did.

After all, Gwynn loved him.

All of a sudden, he felt as if somebody reached into his chest and

squeezed his heart fiercely.

That was it. He knew that she loved him, but he insisted on hurting her and giving her the cold shoulder nonetheless. He dangled their marriage before her and derived pleasure from her suffering.

Then, he turned around and reminded himself that he shouldn’t go

soft.

Training his gaze on her, he closed in on her and pried away her arms, exposing her belly. He caressed her from head to toe before resting his hands on her belly. His actions might appear affectionate, but what he said next was downright cold-blooded.

Looking into her eyes, he said deliberately, “We’ll do an amniocentesis when you’re four months pregnant. If it turns out to be my baby, we’ll keep it.”

That meant that he didn’t believe in her!

Straining to keep her eyes open wide, she responded with trembling lips, “We might as well abort it, then! Divorce… Yes… I want a divorce,

Noah!”

She even shook off his arms and stopped letting him touch her.

He took a step back and stared at her coldly. Moments later, he grabbed her lean arms and swooped her up. Just like that, they back on the bed.

Her delicate feet were pressed tightly against his deep-colored l pants, accentuating the sultriness of the moment.

Unfastening his belt, he pinned her down roughly, leaving marks wherever his hand touched. She looked so pitiable, but taking it easy on her was the last thing on his mind.

In fact, he even looked at her and said, “I don’t care who this baby’s father is. All I care about is that I’m the one who’ll have my way with

you tonight!”
