She must’ve been out of her mind! Zoe thought to herself.
It was over between them, but she just couldn’t reject him every time he teased her. His flirting skills were so superb that she’d inevitably
succumb to it.
Raising her eyes, she looked at herself in the mirror. She had to keep
a clear head.
After a brief moment, she left the restroom and was about to return to the ceremony hall when she heard a couple chatting. What was intriguing was that she recognized their voices. Poking her head out of the corner, she saw them.
As expected, it was Ella and Leslie!
Bumping into him was the last thing on Ella’s mind. As far as she was concerned, he was merely a ghost from her past.

naive.
After she had her fill chuckling, she raised her head and glanced at him. She said, “I’ll die someday too, Leslie! When I do, I’m going to be buried next to Farley. They’ll engrave the words ‘Loving wife of Farley’ on my tombstone!”
With that, she pushed him away and left without so much as a glance at him, leaving Leslie alone.
He didn’t leave. Instead, he just stood there.
He had everything now. He held in his hand the Schmidts’ and the Lynchs’ fates. All he needed to do was wag his finger and these families would suffer terribly. However, he had lost Ella for good.
Watching her as she left, he suddenly uttered, “I’m divorced!”
Ella stiffened at that.
Raising his voice, he repeated again, “I divorced Nellie!”
Then, it was her turn to say something. She sounded cold and a little miserable when she said, “What’s the point, Leslie? What do you think. you’re trying to achieve here?”
