Still, she knew that she had to handle her husband tactfully. A direct refusal was not a wise choice.
Zoe made a sound of acknowledgment. She handed him the bag in her hand, saying she would go buy tickets.

Zoe remained gentle. “Mason, if my interference were of any use, we wouldn’t be in the situation we’re in today. If you really want me to feel jealous, I’ll ask you to cut off contact with her. Can you do that?”
