Chapter 2 Claudia Doesn’t Love Him
Edmond’s warning pierced her heart like a needle.
“Just take me as an unreasonable woman,” Claudia suddenly smiled. “I’ll find the evidence.”
She didn’t want to stay here any longer. After gaining her balance, she stag gered away.
After she left, Edmond said lightly to Rosalie, “Her grandmother meant a lot to her, so she was emotional. Don’t be mad at her.”
Rosalie shook her head, bit her lips, and said, “I thought she was gentle. I didn’t expect her to hate me that much.
“Edmond, will you keep your promise?”
Edmond lowered his eyes.
“Didn’t she offer to divorce you?” Rosalie asked tentatively, “She is weak now and must need a man she loves to be with her.”
Edmond pursed his lips, clenching his fists as he thought of Claudia’s reason for their divorce.
The bad news was that Claudia didn’t love him.
During their three years of marriage, he had been self-restraint. However, days ago, he woke up and found himself in bed with Claudia.
Feeling tricked, Edmond was annoyed. But Claudia denied that they had sex and even gave him a divorce agreement.

“Edmond, let’s get divorced.”
Claudia had been obedient and never mentioned this before.
“Did you fall in love with someone else?” He held the divorce agreement with an ironic sneer.
To his surprise, she admitted with a smile, “Yes.”
“He doesn’t mind your marriage with me?” asked he.
“Yes.”
“OK.”
He wanted to ask more, but he had no clues.
They didn’t spend much time together, so he didn’t know her well.
Claudia was in love with someone, but she kept that man’s identity a perfect secret to Edmond.
Now that Claudia had met a man she loved, Edmond decided to let her
go.
Under Rosalie’s expectant gaze, Edmond nodded slowly.
After Eleanor’s funeral, Claudia dealt with her divorce from Edmond.
But Edmond disappeared. He was not at home. And she couldn’t get him in touch. His colleague said he would come back in a week after a business trip.
It was the hardest time for Claudia.
But news went viral that Edmond was traveling with Rosalie.
In the photo, Rosalie’s pretty face was alight with a happy smile. The

man beside her was wearing sungla**es, tall and handsome. They were like a happy couple.
Claudia told herself to let it go as they would get divorced.
But at the thought of Edmond’s relationship with Rosalie, who killed her grandmother, Claudia lost her patience.
After Edmond came back, she went to him with the divorce agreement as soon as she learned where he was.
Their marriage had been kept secret. So everyone thought that Edmond was single.
Rosalie took the chance to do PDA. In this case, Claudia decided to expose the truth.
It was said that rich men loved to discuss business in Maze Bar.
On the dance floor, se xy women danced skillfully as men drank crazily. It was like another world where people indulged themselves in desires.
Uncomfortable though, Claudia walked through the noisy crowd towards Edmond’s box.
In the box, the music was on. And some bottles were on the ground.
Several men were sitting on the sofa, with their arms around girls. These girls were beautiful.
Edmond crossed his legs, leaning against the leather sofa indifferently with cold eyes and a condescending aura.
Unlike other men, he only had Rosalie by his side.
“Mr. Lamont, it’s boring to have only one woman. Why don’t you call

more women over?”

That handsome man had a teasing smile. The corners of his mouth were slightly upward, making him look charming.
Edmond looked down, saying nothing,
He came here for business with Waldron Friedan. He was not interested in these girls at all.
“Waldron, I’m here.” Rosalie said, “You even said that before me. Things can be worse when I am not here, right?”
Rosalie had been stuck to Edmond and even secretly told reporters about their relationship.
She wanted everyone to know that she was back.
Waldron whistled and teased, “Women are like clothes. It’s boring to wear the same clothes all the time. Besides, you didn’t get married. Don’t flatter yourself.”
Waldron didn’t get on well with Rosalie, so he showed no mercy.
Rosalie was the apple of her family’s eye. She had never been treated like this.
Blinking innocently, she said in anger, “Your sister got lost and hasn’t come back yet. Aren’t you afraid that she might be one of these girls?”
With a bang, Waldron smashed the wine bottle onto the ground. It broke at once.
Silence fell upon the box.
The Friedan family was the richest in Wellfort. They played on both sides of the law. No one dared to go against them. But people knew

Under people’s gazes, Claudia opened her mouth and said in a sweet voice, “Oh, my dear husband, you are here!”
Husband?
Edmond was married?
So… Rosalie was the other woman?
People on site gasped as they looked at Rosalie.
Rosalie’s face changed.
Now, everyone knew that she was between Edmond and Claudia.
Rosalie grabbed Edmond’s clothes as if it was the last straw.
Edmond squinted at Claudia with deep eyes.
It made people nervous.
No one dared to gossip about him. So people walked out voluntarily.
Only Waldron stayed put, sitting on the sofa excitedly with his eyes fixed on Claudia’s face.
