Chapter 71 Run Into Her
In the room, Thomas sat on the chair with a worried expression on his face. When she entered, he raised his eyebrows and his eyes sparkled brightly.
Rosalie’s heart ski pped a beat as she handed over the contract in her hand. “Thomas, this is the contract I drafted.”
Thomas didn’t speak.
She nervously placed the contract on the table.
After a few seconds of silence, Thomas finally looked up at Rosalie while she was awkwardly digging her toes into the ground.
“Rosalie, you and Waldron have known each other since childhood, right?”
Rosalie paused for a moment and then nodded, “He and I have always enjoyed teasing each other since we were young. Everyone says we are like a pair of happy enemies.”
She smiled generously, her innocent and naive eyebrows and eyes looked pure and harmless.
It was hard to believe that such a person would do such a thing.
Thomas had doubts in his heart and was also weighing his options.
Rosalie’s heart was pounding, and her palms were already sweaty.
Thomas didn’t talk about work, he immediately asked about her relationship with Waldron.

She couldn’t sleep whenever she thought about the wrongdoing she had done, fearing that the ghosts would come knocking on her door.
She had already found someone to silence the driver, and besides Elva, no one should know that she was the mastermind behind it.
With this thought, her nervous heart relaxed.
She plucked up the courage to remind him, “Thomas, Elva said you had agreed to cooperate with us, but I can see that you don’t seem interested in the contract.”
“What did I do wrong? Are you not satisfied?”
She had already been here for a while, but Thomas didn’t mention anything about the contract, which made her increasingly uneasy.
“Thomas, don’t you have any intention to cooperate… Is Elva deceiving me?”
After moving out of Elva, Thoma s’s expression did indeed change.
Rosalie took advantage of the opportunity and pushed the contract in front of him.
Thomas hesitated for a moment, but eventually picked up the pen…

Under the Friedan Edifice, Claudia suddenly remembered something.
Would Thomas be foolish enough to let Rosalie know about this recording?
Pedro said that person would surrender tomorrow. If Rosalie knew that person was not dead, she would definitely do something to obstruct.

This was the key to bringing down Rosalie, and there couldn’t be any mistakes.
Just in case, Claudia started walking back.
Edmond and his a**istant just came out of another elevator.
The a**istant whispered in a low voice, pointing at Claudia’s figure, “Mr. Lamont, is that Ms. Lloyd?”
Edmond looked at her, the black padded coat wrapped her up into a small ball, making her petite figure even more apparent. Her long legs walked briskly, and her long hair swung in a beautiful are at her waist, attracting the attention of many people.
Edmond squinted his eyes and pursed his lips.
After divorcing him, her appearance also changed. When she was with him before, she dressed gently like a good girl. But now, she is like a beautiful rose, dressing fashionably and doing whatever she wants.
She was already beautiful, and after blooming, she was like a spotlight, stunning and dazzling.
“What is Ms. Lloyd here for?” the a**istant wondered, especially as she rushed in and swiped her card with such familiarity. If one didn’t know any better, they would think she was a relative of the Friedan family.
Edmond thought about how she hurriedly came to watch the play after getting drunk.
The a**istant later explained to him that Claudia was afraid he would have a relationship with Rosalie, so she specifically took a taxi to come
over.
Knowing that she cared about him, the discomfort in his body from
getting drunk that night also diminished.
Since she filed for divorce, he deliberately ignored all kinds of news about her.
It cannot be ignored that every night he could dream of their first time.
It was like entering a nightmare, making him both anxious and frustrated.
Watching Claudia enter the elevator, Edmond instinctively followed her inside.
“Mr. Lamont…” the young a**istant was somewhat surprised.
Edmond glanced at him indifferently and said, “It’s been a long time since I last saw Thomas. I happen to have some free time today, so I’ll go in and pay him a visit.”
Assistant: “Didn’t you just see it the day before yesterday…”
The remaining words were stuck in Edmond’s throat, blocked by his cold gaze.

Claudia arrived at Thoma s’s floor and coincidentally, Rosalie was also walking toward her.
“Are you here to see Mr. Friedan? Unfortunately, he has already left.’
Rosalie waved the contract in front of her and proudly said, “The contract is signed, the Clayton family will soon be collaborating with the Friedan family, or more accurately, with Elva, because Thomas has already entrusted this project to her.”
With a loud bang, Claudia’s ears buzzed from her own words.

I couldn’t express how I felt, even though I had anticipated it long ago, I was still overwhelmed by disappointment and sadness.
This emotion, like the sand falling from a height, after stirring up the muddy water and causing chaos, finally fell to the deepest point.
Seeing her pale face, Rosalie suddenly felt relieved.
Originally, Thomas was hesitating, but the moment he received a call from Elva, he immediately signed. She clicked her tongue twice and gloated, “You and Waldron combined are not even worth one Elva.”
What about Seraphina? She was still going to be stepped on by Elva.
If I had known Claudia was so unimportant, she wouldn’t even have needed to hire a hitman.
Who knew that this biological one would be so cheap?
Rosalie laughed so hard that her whole body shook.
Claudia looked at the contract in Rosalie’s hand, feeling a bit dizzy in her head.
Disappointment, sadness, and pain enveloped her tightly.
Thomas didn’t believe her.
She was also worried that Thomas would bring out the recording, but as it turned out, Thomas never believed in that recording at all.
She was too naive.
Claudia walked into the elevator in a daze, unable to hear anything Rosalie said beside her.
She didn’t have breakfast and as soon as she woke up, she rushed to
the Friedan family. She was in a bad mood and low blood sugar hit her right away.
When the elevator door opened, she heard Rosalie call out “Edmond”.
She made an effort to lift her eyes and collided with a pair of deep ink- black eyes.
Immediately after, my legs went weak and I lost consciousness,
Waking up again, I had already been taken to the hospital.
Claudia froze for a moment and instinctively touched her stomach.
“Awake?” Edmond’s deep metallic voice resounded,
His deep eyes, like a deep pool, were black and shiny, with no bottom
in sight.
Claudia quickly opened her eyes and asked in a mosquito-like voice, “What did the doctor say?”
Her heart was pounding.
She didn’t know that she had entered the hospital and what tests the hospital had conducted on her. What she was more concerned about was whether her pregnancy had been exposed.
The person she least wanted to tell about her pregnancy was Edmond.
Once divorced, it would be impossible to remarry, but with Edmond’s personality, he would never allow his bloodline to remain outside.
Seeing her evasive gaze, Edmond’s eyes grew deeper.
“The doctor said that you were malnourished and needed to supplement more nutrients.”
Claudia hesitated for a moment, about to continue asking, when she heard an argument coming from outside the door.
“Let me in!”
“Edmond, send your bodyguard away!”
“Claudia! It’s me, are you okay?”
It was Waldron.
He had a bandage tied around his head, clearly in pain and grimacing, but he still charged forward.
Besides him, Ervin, Derrick was also standing beside, with an anxious expression on his face.
Seeing them, Claudia’s heart warmed.
Edmond frowned, not understanding how so many people had suddenly arrived.
