Lily readily agreed, “We should discuss it. Should I wait for your call?”
Sherry felt a bit unsure due to Lily’s politeness and smiled faintly, waving her hand.
“We’re probably around the same age, Lily; you don’t have to be so formal.”
“Alright,” Lily gracefully stood up, “can I call you Sherry directly, like Camila does?”
Sherry nodded. “Of course.”
The negotiation went smoothly, but Lily knew deep down that Malcolm’s unexpected
presence in a girl’s room, with that kind of predatory gaze, couldn’t possibly be the
relationship between a brother–in–law and a sister–in–law.
However, such incidents were common in wealthy families. She didn’t want to know, let

Sherry escorted her to the door.

“What did you use to block the door? Sherry, are you guarding against me?”
Sherry scoffed. Was it even necessary to ask? If she wasn’t guarding against him, then
who else?
“Open the door.”
As if she would open it for him.
“Sherry, open the door quickly!”
No way would she open the door.
