When Paul received a call from Camila, he already had suspicions in his mind.
There must be a reason behind Sherry’s unusual behavior. As a beneficiary, Paul would

ask you for a favor?”

“Of course you can. Please persuade Camila to be kind to me and stop being my fan,
okay? I’m really on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of Mr. Morgan.”
Christopher complained incessantly, and Lily happened to walk in and see it. She
laughed and said, “Sherry, just ignore him.”
Sherry’s movements were gentle and quick. In fact, she could guess some of it.
Camila was an obsessed fan of Christopher, treasuring everything about him. How
could Maverick tolerate it?
Since he couldn’t harm Camila, he could only take it out on Christopher.
“Does Mr. Morgan get you a lot of endorsements?”

need sleep!”
Lily retorted, “Then do you have the guts to go upstairs and talk to Mr. Morgan directly?”
Christopher instantly panicked. “I’m just too scared to go, so I thought of asking Ms.
Wilson for help. Maverick is now openly suppressing me, and everyone in the company
can see it, except for Camila, who is a bit crazy. I just hope that Camila will spare me. I
still want to live a few more years.”

Christopher let out a wail and couldn’t say anything else.
However, despite his fear, Christopher was indeed a natural star. Even if he lacked

Lily patted her shoulder and said, “There’s no more makeup work tonight. You should
go back and rest early. Shall I have someone escort you?”
Sherry’s phone rang at that moment, and she glanced at the caller ID before politely
declining Lily’s offer. “No need, I’ll go ahead.”
Thinking that someone was coming to pick her up, Lily readily agreed, “Alright, take care
on your way.”
Sherry hurriedly walked out of the venue while answering the call, “Have you arrived?”

“I’m afraid you will be tired.”
I’m not tired, Sherry replied. “I’m full of energy right now. If Sophia were in front of me, I
could slap her until she’s immobilized.”
Sniper chuckled at her words. “Paul’s side should be going smoothly. David is actually
easy to manipulate. Give him enough respect, and he can be easily swayed.”
“That’s because he lost face in the Ford Group and urgently needs to regain his
reputation and his status as an international master.” Sherry’s smile faded slightly. “A
salary of ten million, the title of chief designer of the largest shopping mall in
Herzoslovakia City, and a grand welcome ceremony. I don’t believe he’s not tempted.”
Mr. Sniper said, “Nora and Sophia probably never dreamed that you would use this
money to cut off their source of income.”
“Mr. Sniper, I’m starting to doubt my mother’s judgment. What’s so good about David.

He snapped out of his daydream. “Pardon?”
“What were you pondering just now? You appeared deep in thought.”
Mr. Sniper took a deep breath and embraced her tightly. “It’s nothing; I was simply
contemplating the extraordinary nature of maternal love.”
