Chapter 181
On Saturday morning, the sun shone brightly, casting its rays over the residential areal
where the Wilson residence was nestled. This area, located by the mountains and seas,
was considered an excellent location in Herzoslovakia City. Many wealthy people,
including Malcolm, owned houses here, but not many actually lived here.
Although it was a desirable residential area, most of the buildings were villas from thirty
years ago. Renovating them would be too costly, and the facilities were somewhat
outdated. As a result, young people generally didn’t prefer living here, and only a few
sentimental elderly people had chosen to stay.
David had purchased this villa at a low price from a young person. It was originally a
place where an elderly couple retired. After the couple passed away, their son sold the
place and planned to settle abroad. Therefore, when David bought it, he didn’t pay too
much for it.
When Sherry walked out, Nora was helping Sophia straighten her skirt; she was
bending over to do so.

Sophia was wearing a white, low–cut dress.
It was the dress that Mr. Sniper had given her

Nora had knocked on the door early in the morning before Sherry woke up. She politely
and apologetically explained that Sophia’s clothes were all at the Ford residence. The
clothes she had bought a few days ago hadn’t been washed yet, so she came to ask if
Sherry had any spare clothes that Sophia could borrow for a while.
David reaffirmed this justification. According to him, Sophia had delicate skin, and if
she wore clothes that hadn’t been washed, she would get a rash. He claimed to have
seen it before.
Sherry looked at the couple in front of her, who were putting on a show of motherly love
and filial piety, with a hint of amusement. She readily gave Sophia the outfit that Mr.
Sniper had given her yesterday.
However, Nora still wanted to be a good person and took out several women’s clothing
Items she had bought a few days ago to give to Sherry as compensation.

David said, “Sherry, I didn’t know that you and that gentleman were acquaintances

before. I didn’t know that you would also be invited to the family banquet, so I didn’t buy
you any clothes. These clothes are all the latest designs from Chanel. You can take
them and try them on.”
Nora hurriedly agreed, “Yes, yes, Sherry, I’m really sorry. I accidentally put that dress with
the other dirty clothes into the washing machine yesterday, and it came out all wrinkled
and ugly. Consider these clothes as compensation from me. Don’t be mad at me,
okay?”
Her words were both aggrieved and humble, and if Sherry didn’t know her true
character, she would almost believe in her gentle and virtuous demeanor.
Nora had gone to great lengths and schemed to prevent Sherry from wearing that
dress.
Curious to see what tricks Nora had up her sleeve, Sherry saw Sophia wearing a
snow white dress that looked brand new. Not only were there no wrinkles, but there
wasn’t even a single crease, giving no indication that it had been washed.

Chapter 181 Taking Back One’s Glory
David, being clueless about women’s clothes, couldn’t see through Nora’s true nature

and just smiled and said, “Impressive; even after being washed in the washing machine,
it still looks brand new.”
Nora smiled and agreed, “Yes, the quality of this dress is really good.”
And what about Sophia?
Her skin was naturally dark, and now she had covered herself in white makeup to make
herself look less tanned against the backdrop of the white dress. Her hair and makeup
were also clearly done intentionally, with her hair tied into a soft braid that hung over
her left shoulder and delicate bangs. She did look quite good.
As for Sherry, she was wearing one of the dresses Nora had sent, a bright pink color, in
an old–fashioned plus–size style that resembled middle–aged women.
Nora narrowed her eyes and said, “David, see? I told you that Sherry is beautiful and has
a great figure, and this color suits her the best. Right?”
What a load of nonsense! Sherry had every reason to suspect that Nora had bought it

for herself.
David, being foolish, could only smile and say, “Yeah, it’s just… this color is a bit… and
this style is a bit…”

When Sherry looked in the mirror before leaving the house, she now looked like a sack
wearing bright pink. She felt as though the dress was swallowing her up because it was
several sizes too big for her.
Even David could see that it didn’t look good, which showed just how unattractive it
was.
But Nora still chimed in, “David, you don’t understand. Young girls like pink. We can’t
make these youthful girls wear black, white, or gray, right? That would be too
old–fashioned.”
David agreed with her. “That’s true; young people should dress more brightly.”
Nora helped Sophia lift her skirt and urged her to get in the car first, then pretended to
go and pick up Sherry.
Chapter 181 Taking Back One’s Glory
Sherry had already taken a few steps forward and casually pulled out a long black belt.
from her bag. She loosely tied it around her waist, instantly tightening the loose–fitting
dress and highlighting her slender waist.

Nora paused in her steps.
Sherry chuckled lightly and adjusted the position of the belt, accentuating her long
legs. She quickly applied bright and glamorous makeup; even though it was heavy, it
didn’t hide her natural beauty. Instead, it brought out a hint of seductiveness.
She tied her hair into a simple bun at the back of her head, loosely and casually, and it
looked particularly playful and cute.
The combination of black and pink, along with the cute and vibrant hairstyle, was a
stark contrast to the usual Sherry. However, this version of Sherry was even more
eye–catching, captivating everyone’s attention.
Nora was completely stunned, and the cigarette that David was holding on his phone
fell to the ground. Even Joseph, who was “left behind” at home today, hid in the
hadows and secretly glanced at her.

“Mrs. Wilson, would you like to sit in the front or the back seat?*
Nora instantly reacted; her face had already darkened. She smirked and said, “I’ll sit in
the back seat and accompany Sophia.”
Sherry agreed with a nod. “Alright, I’ll take the front seat. Let’s go.”
She walked past Norà and swiftly entered the car, closing the door and fastening her
seat belt.
Sherry glanced at the rear–view mirror, and indeed, she caught Sophia’s prying and
resentful gaze.

In that brief moment of eye contact, Sophia appeared to feel guilty and quickly averted
her gaze, afraid to meet Sherry’s eyes.
Sherry chuckled. “This outfit really suits Sophia.”
Her comment received no response.
Chapter 181 Taking Back One’s Glory
White was already a pure and adorable color, but when faced with femininity,
adorableness instantly became insignificant.
Since Nora had given her such an attention–grabbing color, she didn’t mind reclaiming
her own spotlight.
