Sherry had no reason to decline further discussion at this point in the conversation.
After the call ended, a large hand grabbed her waist and pulled her back into his warm
embrace with a gentle force.
Sherry lay on her side, her back against Mr. Sniper, unable to move as he held her
securely.
She woke up for the first time in several days, and he was still by her side.
Mr. Sniper rested his face on the nape of her neck, but she didn’t feel the cold touch of
a mask.

Sherry bit her lower lip, feeling scared.

Sherry quickly got dressed and left.
This man had incredible stamina.

Camila’s car was already waiting downstairs at the Hilton Hotel, and when she came

Because Mr. Sniper had turned her closet into a sea of white, she didn’t have any other
colors to choose from when she left, so she grabbed a white top and a matching long
skirt, and left her hair loose without tying it up.
Camila was taken aback. “Wow…” she exclaimed.
Sherry got into the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt.
“Oh my god, clothes make such a difference. Even without makeup, you look amazing! I
won’t take any more photos with you since they make me look like an ugly duckling.”
Sherry found it amusing, saying, “It’s not that extreme.”

a middle–aged woman? Wearing this outfit is like becoming a different person!”
Sherry smiled but didn’t say anything.

Her mother–in–law controlled the finances tightly, and she didn’t have any extra money
to spend, nor could she bear the thought of spending money on herself.
Many of her clothes were hand–me–downs from her mother–in–law, who no longer liked
them; they were already out of style, and it was a wonder if they even fit.
Camila was genuinely happy for her. “Since leaving Malcolm, your complexion and condition have noticeably improved.” Sherry, you should have left him years ago.”
“It’s not too late.” I signed the divorce agreement a few days ago, and now I’m just
waiting for the divorce certificate from the Civil Affairs Bureau.”
“That’s good, Camila grumbled, “but I mentioned your situation to my father yesterday,

Her hospitality was hard to refuse.
