Sherry sneered as she saw Malcolm’s fury.

about them. See you at the Civil Affairs Bureau this afternoon, Mr. Ford. If you’re a man,

She abruptly ended the call.
Sherry let out a deep sigh of relief after the phone call.

you have a fight with Sherry again? Have some tea to calm down and ease your anger
Malcolm simply ignored her, staying in his previous position without moving.
Sophia was anxious and wanted to find a way to appease him and smooth things over after yesterday’s incident. “Yesterday… I was impulsive. When I heard that another
woman was trying to seduce you, it felt like a stab in my heart. I confronted you at the car exhibition because I love you. I couldn’t bear to see other women lingering around you. I was just angry. Please forgive me this time, especially since I’m still pregnant.”
Malcolm’s tone was distant as he wiped his face with his palm. “Because you love me,

“Yes, that’s right,” Sophia said, setting the cup of water aside and reaching out to hold
Malcolm’s hand playfully. “Women, too, can be possessive. You’re my man, and your

shameless women wouldn’t want to throw themselves at you?”
Malcolm pushed her away and stood up, his gaze fixed on her. “Don’t forget, Sophia,
you were one of those shameless women as well!”

“Malcolm, you…” He threw Sophia onto the bed, luckily the mattress was soft enough to
cushion her belly. “You pushed me? I’m carrying your child, and you actually pushed
me? You don’t care about me, but don’t you care about your own son?” she exclaimed.
Malcolm stood with his back to her, his face tense, but what could he do?
Sophia was, after all, pregnant.
“Sophia, I was impulsive and used a little too much force just now; if you’re
uncomfortable, I’ll take you to the hospital.”

“If it’s really nothing, please let me see your phone!”

phone and even block Sherry’s number?”
Sophia immediately avoided eye contact, feeling terrible. “I didn’t…”
“My mom doesn’t know how to use a smartphone, and you’re the only one who could
have touched my phone besides me,” Malcolm remarked coldly. “Also, do you have
anything to do with Sherry’s blocked fallopian tube examination report?”
“I’ve already mentioned it. I gave the doctor a red envelope as a gesture to ensure the
well–being of our child! Did Sherry say something to you earlier?” Sophia stated.
