As Malcolm disappeared from sight, only Violet remained, sitting there and sobbing.
Jayden understood the situation and turned to Sherry for confirmation, “Is that your
mother-in-law?”
Sherry nodded awkwardly. “Uncle Jayden, my mother-in-law is not in a good mood
today. Should we come back another day?”

Jayden frowned and hesitated. “I’ve already said that I won’t act impulsively. I’m here to
reason with Sophia. It’s alright; go and comfort your mother-in-law. I’ll go to find Sophia
myself.”
“Uncle Jayden, please don’t…”
“Enough; don’t stop me. I spent over a hundred dollars on a taxi to come here, and now
you want me to return empty-handed?”
Jayden earned money the hard way, so a hundred dollars was very precious to him.

He must have been really angry today to take a taxi.
Jayden strode toward the Ford residence, ignoring Violet’s attempts to stop him. Violet stomped her feet and slapped her thighs in anger. “You are all despicable! You all have
your eyes on our family’s money, trying every means to marry into our family, right? I’m not dead yet! This is the Ford family, not a place where unworthy people can come and
go as they please.”
Sherry couldn’t help but feel sympathy when she heard this.
Violet had always acted arrogantly in front of her. She had never seen Violet so
hysterical before.
It seemed that Malcolm’s attitude toward her earlier might not have been good either.
“And you!” Violet pointed her finger at Sherry and scolded, “What are your intentions?
Since you can’t have children yourself, you let your own sister go instead. How shameless! Both sisters are trying to snatch away Mrs. Ford’s position, aren’t you?”
Sherry couldn’t bear to listen to this anymore: “Madam Violet, weren’t you quite satisfied

with Sophia before? Why are you blaming me now?”
“Back then, both of you tricked me! I just wanted a grandson, and coincidentally, your
sister got pregnant. Aren’t you two conspiring against my son? How dare you try to
argue?”
Sherry couldn’t help but laugh in anger.
Violet really thought highly of herself, and she really thought highly of Malcolm.

“If you want to think of me that way, I can’t do anything about it,” Sherry said. “Anyway,
we won’t see each other again, so I don’t need to waste so much time explaining to you,
and you wouldn’t listen to my explanation anyway. That’s it; I’ll go in and take a look.”
Malcolm didn’t stay outside with Violet; he should have gone in to find Sophia.
If her uncle saw the two of them being intimate, this farce would definitely not end well
today. She had to stop it as soon as possible,
“Stay away!” Violet suddenly shouted, grabbing her arm and forcefully throwing her to
the side.
Violet’s strength was too strong, and Sherry was caught off guard; she was directly
thrown out and hit a tree.
The leaves fell due to the tremendous force, landing on her head and clothes, making
her look particularly disheveled.
Violet stood there and scolded, “This is my home. As long as I’m here, you won’t be able
to get your feet on its ground.”
She was being pushy, not letting anyone pass her.
“Madam Violet, don’t you have high blood pressure?”
“Does it concern you? I was having high blood pressure, but I’m fine now.”
Just now, she claimed to have high blood pressure, but now she looked like a foul-mouthed shrew. Sherry forced a bitter smile. It seemed that whether this high blood pressure acted up or not depended entirely on Violet’s words. She just acted
however she wanted to.
Enduring the intense pain in her back, Sherry struggled to stand up. “Fine, I won’t go in.
I’ll just wait here.”
Anyway, now that Uncle Jayden already knew about Malcolm and Sophia’s secret affair,
she knew she could not keep it from him forever. According to Uncle Jayden’s
temperament, it was only a matter of time before he caused a scene.
Sherry suddenly felt a bit daring. The Ford family relied on their power and influence to
kick her out and even made her sign a divorce agreement. They were already bullying
her.
She didn’t push it because she didn’t want to cause any more trouble and was afraid of
angering her two uncles.
But now that things have come to this, she might as well go all out and make a scene,
letting everyone in Herzoslovakia City see the true colors of the Ford family!
At this moment, a pair of strong hands had already supported her, and Mr. Sniper’s
slightly hoarse voice sounded beside her: “Sherry, are you okay?”
Sherry forced a smile and shook her head. “I’m fine; I just bumped into something.”
Mr. Sniper checked her back, but he didn’t dare lift it up to see if she was injured in public. He was still worried. “I’ll take you to the hospital for a check-up later.”
“No need; I’m fine. I don’t have high blood pressure, and I’m young. Even if I bump into
something, my bones won’t break.”
Mr. Sniper easily understood the real meaning of her words. He affectionately rubbed
her nose and said, “My sweetie is becoming fierce, huh?”
Sherry gently moved and said softly, “Actually, I’ve always been fierce. It’s just that I
haven’t shown it much before.”
“That’s impressive.”
Sherry jokingly warned him as she said, “Can you please keep that woman out of our
lives? At least don’t let me have any contact with anything related to her.”

His attitude was too good, and Sherry couldn’t get angry with him.
That’s how love is. There is no right or wrong, nor should or shouldn’t. When people fall
in love, nothing else matters.
If they can overcome the challenges, they will have a happy ending. If not, they can just
break up.
Sherry did not know what would happen between her and Mr. Sniper. She was prepared
for a happy ending but also prepared for a separation.
The ending remained unknown until it arrived.
Violet had been observing Mr. Sniper for a while, scrutinizing him with suspicion.
Mr. Sniper stood tall, calmly allowing her to examine him. “I am Sherry’s boyfriend,” he
stated.

Violet sneered, “No wonder she agreed to divorce without asking for any financial
compensation. So she had already found someone else. Sherry, you truly are
something!”
Sherry was unfazed by Violet’s sarcasm. “Even if I had found someone else, Malcolm
cheated on me first and got another woman pregnant. According to the law, I have the
right to a share of the assets that Malcolm and I acquired during our marriage. Madam
Violet, please do not provoke me, or this issue will not be resolved.”
