“But so what?” Sergio continued to mock. “You’re still a lowly woman.”
Kylie looked indifferently at Sergio and had yet to speak.
Ethan suddenly walked over from the hall.
Kylie’s eyes flickered.
Sergio also noticed, looking at the newcomer with an even more sarcastic smile.
At that moment, some friends around Sergio also walked over. They noticed the man following “Ethan” approaching Sergio. Thinking there might be something to discuss with Sergio, they wanted to join the fun, hoping to establish some relationship with Ethan.
“Sergio, who is he?” a young man asked.
The man’s aura was too strong, and they were uncertain of his identity.
Sergio glanced at him and disdainfully said, “Mr. Hayden’s bodyguard. He used to be a firefighter.”
“Really?” A young man expressed surprise and added, “Firefighters are so handsome.”
“What’s the use of being handsome?” Sergio dismissed it.
Ethan gave Sergio a glance, walked to Kylie’s side, and whispered, “Jos will come with Grandpa later. He asked me to tell you to wait for him.”
“Okay.” Kylie nodded.
“I’m a bit busy over there, and I have to go now.”
“Yeah.” Kylie understood.
This was Jason’s event, and Ethan had to have many engagements.
Ethan turned and left.
Several young men looked at his back and could not help but exclaim, “Is this bodyguard really just a bodyguard?”
His identity could not be simple.

Sergio noticed Kylie approaching Jason and commented, “Consider your own status. Don’t embarrass yourself. Those who can socialize now are our elders. When did you become so ignorant of etiquette?”
“Whether I understand etiquette or not is none of your business.”
Kylie left.
Sergio clenched his fists..
During this period, Kylie had become increasingly arrogant..
Kylie wasn’t there to meet Jason but had spotted Joseph.
Joseph was also surrounded by the crowd, and his discomfort was evident.
Seeing Kylie appear at this moment, his eyes lit up. He quickly said to Jason, “Great–grandfather, I’m hungry. I want to go over there and eat pastries.”
Jason nodded and gave a signal to the bodyguard beside him, and they followed.
Joseph emerged from the crowd and jumped into Kylie’s embrace. “Mommy!”
Kylie gently patted Joseph’s small head.
The bodyguard watched the scene from behind, surprised but dared not intervene.
“Mommy, can we go eat dessert?” Joseph asked.
“Sure.”
Kylie led Joseph toward a corner of the banquet.
The bodyguard followed behind them but kept a respectful distance.

Kylie earnestly selected cakes for Joseph.
“Kylie, you actually brought him too?” Perla, accompanied by Salma, was eating pastries in this area.
Just now, they were frustrated enough, and it took them a while to calm down.
Now they encountered Kylie again,
“Perla, your dad should have reminded her that tonight’s banquet is extraordinary, and you shouldn’t be disrespectful. If you continue to stir up trouble, I cannot guarantee what I might do,” Kylie threatened.

“Mr. Cavanaugh,” Salma greeted proactively.
Leopold looked at Salma.
They knew each other in the entertainment industry.
“Miss Moore. Leopold was polite.
“Can I ask why I was suddenly replaced in the role?” Salma got straight to the point.
“That was a decision made by the company’s higher–ups, and I’m not aware of the specific reasons.”
“Aren’t you a shareholder in Shatrera Media?”
“What I mean is that this is a decision by Hayden Group,” Leopold said.
“Hayden Group?” Salma’s face darkened.
Wasn’t Shatrera Media supposed to operate independently?
“Could it really be Joel’s doing?” Salma muttered to herself.
Last time, when she confronted Joel, he flatly denied it.
“Maybe you should ask Joel directly,” Leopold said, his patience waning as he pointed in the direction behind him. He wanted to avoid further involvement in the situation, hoping someone else could handle

“Mr. Cavanaugh.” Salma intercepted Leopold, blocking his path. Her direct approach caught him off guard.

“I’m sorry.” Leopold walked past Salma.
Salma grabbed Leopold’s hand.
Leopold frowned.
Salma forcibly handed her note to Leopold. “Keep it. What if Mr. Cavanaugh happens to have a role suitable for me?”

A slender figure walked past them with mocking laughter..
Both of them turned to look, watching Zola pass by them, leaving with a graceful stride.
