Chapter 419
Jasmine, who was still in a daze, was completely awake after what Zola did.
She looked at Zola innocently. “Mommy, did 1 see Daddy just now?”
Zola immediately said, “I didn’t see him”
“He’s outside. Jasmine pointed in the direction of the door. “I’m going to say hello to Daddy.”
Zola said, “He’s not your daddy.”
“Daddy must have specially come to look for me.’ Jasmine said happily.
“Jasmine, how many times do you want me to tell you that he’s not your daddy!” Zola raised her voice.
She was already drunk, so she could not control her temper well She became upset easily after Jasmine kept going against
her will.
“Mommy is mean!” Jasmine’s little face immediately scrunched up in grievance.
“Yes, I’m the worst. Hurry up and go to bed. If you don’t, I’ll spank you,” Zola pretended to threaten fiercely.
Jasmine pouted and obediently got into bed.
After thay, she felt very upset. When she thought about how her daddy had specially come to see her today but was stopped by her mommy outside the door, she felt that her mommy was a supervillain.
She had made up her mind. She had to find a way to see her daddy herself.
Zola sat beside Jasmine’s bed and didn’t know what she was thinking as she bared her teeth. Zola was hoping that Leopold would leave as soon as possible. She was praying that Leopold did not see Jasmine.
Leopold was too smart.
He had been great at school since he was little. If he saw Jasmine Zola was scared he might find out about the truth.
She did not want him to find out, nor did she need him to take responsibility for it.
After a while, Cheryl came in through the door. She looked at Zola sitting on the bed in a daze.
Cheryl thought, ‘She is not going to bed after she is drunk. Is she afraid to face Leopold outside? But Leopold was the one who sent her home. He even carried her on his lap.
Cheryl was not a nosy person. She said, “Leopold has left. He told me to remind you to have some honey water. It can relieve your hangover headache.”
“Okay,” Zola replied.
When Cheryl was leaving, Zola couldn’t help but ask, “Did he say anything or have any questions when he left?”
Cheryl was a little confused. Zola explained, “Did he ask about Jasmine?”
“No.” Cheryl shook her head. “Maybe he didn’t see Jasmine. It was dark.”
Zola was slightly relieved when she heard Cheryl say that.
Cheryl urged, “Hurry up and go to sleep. You’ll feel better if you get some sleep since you are drunk now. By the way. I’ve placed the honey water in your room.”

Cheryl smiled.
After so many years, Zola was still treating her like a guest.
Zola lay on her bed after taking a shower, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep.
She was always like this. Once she took a nap after she was drunk, she would immediately sober up.
Although Cheryl said that Leopold might not have seen Jasmine Zola was worried about the slight possibility that he did.
She felt sick.
Zola thought, “How did I end up being sent home by Leopold? How did she find out where I lived?’
Zola was on the verge of breaking down. She couldn’t take it anymore and called Quintina.
However, her phone was turned off.
Zola thought, ‘She never turns her phone off. Is she in the middle of something right now? Did she get back together with Xavier as a couple now?”
Zola had no time to care about others now. She called Kylie and thought, ‘Since she is in Kenville, she should be able to pick up calls now, right?”
Kylie looked at Zola’s call and quickly picked it up. “Zola.”
“Kylic, you’re still the most reliable. After having her man back, Quintina totally forgot about me,” Zola complained.
Kylie immediately knew that Zola was drunk.
She knew that Zola would not normally talk like this.

would only act like this when she was drunk.
Kylie said, “What’s wrong? Are you upset by something?”
Zola said, “Not really. I’m just bored and want to talk to someone. I just drank and took a nap, so I can’t fall asleep.”
Kylie did not point out her lie.
She asked calmly, “Who did you drink with tonight?”
Zola replied, “Quintina.
“Just her?” Kylie clearly did not believe her.
Zola said, “I bumped into Joel and the others at a gathering, so we drank together.”
Joel and the others. So Leopold was also there.” Kylie immediately knew what was going on.
Zola trally felt that she could not hide anything from Kylie when chatting with her.
She thought, Kylie can see through everything No wonder she has a successful career. Unfortunately, she has a complicated romantic history
“There’s nothing between me and Leopold,” Zola denied.
“I didn’t say anything. I was just asking” Kylie smiled.

Zola felt there was no way for her to convince Kylic.
“By the way, I saw your show.” Kylie changed the topic.
“Is that so? What do you think of my performance?” Zola quickly asked.
“Very good.” Kylie praised generously, “Leopold has good taste.”
Zola frowned when Leopold was mentioned again.
Kylie added, “From the first performance to the later competitions, didn’t he always stand firmly on your side? No wonder he could produce so many outstanding works. He can surely spot a talent.”
“I don’t know if you’re praising me or him.” Zola was a little unhappy since she realized Kylie started to talking about Leopold nonstop.
“I’m praising both of you.” Kylie smiled. “Speaking of which, Zola, don’t you have any urge to give it a try after interacting with Leopold so often these days?”
“No,” Zola answered firmly.
Kylie said, “Actually, when Leopold left you back then…”.
“Mommy!” Jasmine’s crisp voice suddenly sounded from outside the door.
“Did I hear a little kid’s voice?” Kylie asked.
“I just turned on the TV. There’s a kid talking on the TV, Zola found a random excuse. “Kylie, I have to go. I just remembered that I have to report to the group chat.”
Zola hung up.

Zola added, “I reek of alcohol.”
Jasmine said, “Even if you reek of alcohol, you smell perfect to me.”
Zola ran out of excuses. After all, she could not refuse to share a bed with her cute and obedient daughter.
Jasmine’s wish was granted and she got into Zola’s bed.
Zola told her to go to sleep.
