Pearl teased Richard, “Mister Richard, your seasoned employee tried to frame me, but I uncovered her plot. What do you think should be done with her?”
Richard responded emotionlessly. “Understood. I’ll fire Ruby according to the company’s rules.”
Ruby, in tears, threw herself at Richard, clutching his leg. “Please don’t fire me, Mister Richard. I’ve been with the company for so long, and I don’t want to leave. Please give me another chance.”
“Release me immediately, or your punishment will be far more severe than just leaving the company,” Richard warned sternly.
Panicking, Ruby let go, fully aware of Richard’s power.

now.”
Her coworkers were amazed. “You’re 50 awesome, Pearl!”

Smiling, Pearl explained, “I’ll create a code in my computer and transfer it to your computers. You don’t have to do anything.”

Smiling shyly, Pearl elaborated, “It’s nothing special. I picked up some knowledge from a foreigner when I was abroad. It’s just basic stuff.”
Richard, watching the attention Pearl was receiving, felt a pang of annoyance.
“Aren’t you going back to work? If you don’t return to your desks now, I’ll dock a month’s salary from each of you,” he declared coldly, his mellow voice carrying a commanding tone.
His threat compelled the men to timidly return to their workstations.
However, Pearl playfully teased him with a sly grin. “Are you jealous?”
“Get back to work.”
“Don’t be so stem. I know men rarely say what they mean.”
Richard shot her an indifferent look, a hint of emotion flickering in his eyes. “You’re actually a hacker.”
Others might think she had only acquired some basic skills, but Richard saw something more. Only a top hacker could effortlessly fix a computer that had been attacked by a virus and restore it to working order.
