No one had expected to see things turn out like this. They looked at each other, shocked about what must’ve happened upstairs Did she jump on her own? Was it suicide? Was it because of all the things they called her? They looked at Grayson shouting her name and immediately thought that it was something Grayson did.
She didn’t wriggle for a good few seconds, completely unmoving. Some of the blood started pooling on the ground and the pack members gulped.
If it was a suicide, they’ll have to answer the council and it will make things even worse for the pack members who used to bully her daily.
Jackson jumped from the second floor through the pipes quickly to check on the girl.
Everyone thought that she was dead or brutally injured, but they were even more shocked when she stood with her wobbly legs and coughed blood.
As soon as she stood, she fell to her knees, looking at the man in front of her in pure shock with her tear–filled eyes.
Her head was ringing because of the fall and she felt something flowing down from the side of her head.
Anastasia raised her hand and touched the side of her face, looking at the red metallic liquid with an expressionless face.
“Ha, and here I thought you died. But how can I forget? Pathetic leeches. who love to suck off from others don’t die such an easy death,” Jackson’s words were harsh and Anastasia closed her eyes for a second, letting the tears roll down her cheeks so that her vision could clear.
She wanted to run away. Run far away from here and never show her face to anyone in this pack or this alpha. She clenched her hand on the dress, the dress that she wore to impress her mate.
Anastasia looked at her knees which were scratched and her ankles which were twisted at an odd angle. She sat on the ground and gritted her teeth. before grabbing her ankle.
Grayson, who rushed downstairs, looked at the girl and noticed what she was about to do.

The sickening sound of the bone getting back in place echoed in the silent environment. Grayson looked at the girl who only shut her eyes for a second.
If it had been anyone, even himself, he would have wriggled in pain or winced at least. But she, her gaze was fixated only on Jackson.
He had alwayss thought that she was stupid and a wh*re just like other she–wolves in the pack who wanted to open her legs for the alpha at any given chance and that’s why was always hovering around him, but who would’ve thought they had this kind of connection between them. A connection that meant something only to her.
Anastasia wiped her tears and was about to stand and leave when she remembered what she promised her mom.
‘I have talked to Jackson about your treatment too, Mom. You will get treated in the best hospital in the Province. Your illness is not incurable,‘ Anastasia har promised her mom before coming to the party tonight. How will she get her mom treated if Jackson left her? No one in the pack likes them anymore because she can’t show her wolf to anyone and now a rejection from the alpha. No. If this happened, it won’t only destroy her life but her mom’s life too.
She has no one apart from her mom left in this world. She can’t bear to lose her mom too. Anastasia’s mind felt clouded and she gulped before taking a deep breath and throwing the little self–respect she was left with.
“Jackson, I mean, Alpha, please don’t do this. Please don’t leave me. I will do anything for you. Anything, just please don’t reject me,” Anastasia bowed in front of him with her hands on the ground, and Grayson’s hand clenched by his side.
Meanwhile, Georgia, who was about to leave the area, turned to where Anastasia was sitting and noticed her clutch on the side of the seat. “This girl is always like this. How can she forget her clutch? What if she needs something? How will she manage things if I won’t be by her side. anymore?” Georgia sighed, her heart aching at the thought alone.
No. She can’t leave her daughter in this wild world where no one is by their side, not until her daughter gets a decent job. Georgia made a U–turn to go to the School where the party was held.
After fifteen minutes, she reached the place and parked the car on the road itself since she only had to give her daughter her wallet.

“God, she probably forgot her phone in this too. How will I contact her. this way? Where will I find her in this big place?‘ Georgia wondered as she walked inside, but she didn’t have to look for long.
She looked at the silhouette of her daughter, sitting on the ground, and smiled. She was about to call out for her daughter when her feet froze in their place.
Wait. Why was her daughter on the ground? Were they bullying her daughter? She had heard and thought that her daughter was probably getting bullied, but her daughter never mentioned it.
“Please, Alpha. Don’t reject me. I’ll do anything. I know I have been too wishful and arrogant in the past, but please don’t do this. My mom needs the treatment. I only have her in this world. If something happened to her, I don’t know what I’ll do,” Anastasia’s words reached Georgia’s ears and the lady stumbled back in shock.
For her? Her daughter was suffering from this humiliation for her? Her daughter, who has always been so prideful and never taken anyone’s sh*t and fought back was being like this because of her? Georgia couldn’t believe it.
Georgia’s stressed thinking started affecting her head and she felt a sudden pang in her brain, making her gasp loudly as she fell to her knees, the pain being too much to bear.
Right. She forgot to take her evening medicine before coming out of the house. Georgia’s vision started to blur, but she could still see what was happening in front of her.
“Anastasia, I never liked you. You understand that, right? The only reason I befriended you is that I liked how one of the prettiest omega was hovering around me like I was her everything. Imagine my surprise when that good–for–nothing omega turned out to be my mate,” Each word. Jackson said was a slap to her face and her emotions, but Anastasia still bore with it and nodded.
“I understand,” she whispered.
“You said you can do anything for me if I don’t reject you and get your mom treated in the best hospital, right?” Jackson asked, and Anastasia nodded eagerly, ready to do anything to save her mom.
“Well, can you undress here in front of me?” Jackson asked, and Anastasia’s pupils dilated.
Even the pack members were shocked by their Alpha’s choice of words.

Georgia’s eyes widened at what she heard and she extended her hand to call out for Anastasia to stop her from making any rash decisions, but no matter what she did, no voice came out of her mouth.
“In front of everyone?” Anastasia’s words shocked Jackson.
He hadn’t expected her to even consider it let alone ask something. He gritted his teeth. Though he didn’t want Anastasia as his mate, she was still his mate right now. How can he make his mate strip in front of the entire pack?
“Yes,” Jackson found himself saying, wanting to test her, and Anastasia nodded before standing. She was wearing a dress with straps.
Even if she was planning to spend the night with Jackson today, she was never a fan of suggestive undergarments and that’s why she was wearing a clean pair of panties and bra along with a camisole that covered her woman parts respectfully.
Anastasia took the first strap in her hand and pulled it down from her shoulders, her gaze fixated on Jackson.
Some of the boys who always considered her a beauty started recording and Georgia looked at her daughter’s back in horror.
No. How can she let something like this happen? Even if she was sick, she can’t become the reason behind her daughter’s destruction. She destroyed her daughter’s life for so long, depriving her of the childhood and teenage life she deserved, and now this? How will she be able to live. with it if something happened to her daughter’s dignity today?
