Chapter 36
Logan played the video in the pack house’s hall as ordered by his alpha. When he had gone to retrieve the footage, the uneasy expression on the security team was enough of an indication that something was wrong, and whatever happened after Alpha was gone, wasn’t good enough. “Alpha Kaiden, what are you doing watching the security footage like this? Why don’t you rest a little? I will see the footage and let you know if something is wrong, one of the elders of the elder committee of the pack said, and Kaiden looked at him, making the man step back.
“I am sorry, alpha. I should know my place,” He immediately bowed, and Kaiden looked at Logan, who immediately understood his signal and played the video from the time after they left.
As the video started to play, to say even Logan and the other boys who were always with alpha Kaiden were shocked would be an
understatement.

‘Have you lost your mind?”
‘Let’s see what you have to offer. Even I want to see what is making our alpha so mad about you,”
Kaiden watched the video in utter silence, his eyes not leaving Anastasia’s shivering form even for a second.
‘Please, I beg you. Don’t do this. No, Anastasia begged with everything she could.
The ripping of her shirt, her begging them to not do what they were doing, the way she held her jeans to stop them from taking it off, tried to push everyone away from herself, begged them to stop and whatnot. Kaiden watched everything as slight tears formed in his eyes when he saw her breaking.
He was the one who pursued her.
She was never ready for any of this, starting from being near him or the city to letting him kiss her. She wasn’t ready for anything, and he was the one who said he would take care of her because she was the only one for him.
They dared to touch her!‘ Atlas growled, and Kaiden closed his eyes for a
few minutes, leaning on the wall.

He left her here alone for a couple of hours, and she got humiliated so badly that even his form was shivering. He can’t even fathom what she must’ve felt. He promised her a good and safe life here and look what happened. Kaiden smiled, his eyes dark and unapproachable. Everyone paused, unsure of what their alpha was thinking since his mind barrier was completely off.
Logan looked at his alpha before looking at the girl who was still begging on the screen. He couldn’t watch it anymore and walked out of the pack house.
He couldn’t believe it himself. His pack members did that to the girl.
And to say he thought Anastasia betrayed their Alpha’s trust. What would have really happened to her if she had stayed here? Logan gulped before taking a deep shaky breath.
He leaned on the outer gate and was about to close his eyes when he felt a swoosh of wind, and he opened his eyes, only to see his alpha running in the direction of the forests at a great speed.
He rushed behind the alpha, wanting to help him find one woman who he has started to like and actually has a possibility with.
Kaiden asked the security border to know where they saw the rogue girl going.
When they said that a man came and picked her up in his arms and she broke out in his arms, his heart broke even more.
Kaiden turned around, unsure which direction to go. There was no way he was losing her. He took a deep breath and sighed, thinking of all the times they talked and if he could find a hint of where she must’ve gone. Suburbs. Yes. He should start looking from that one place where he had

The chances of rogues being there were still high. If something happened to her and the rogues got to her before he could, he wouldn’t be able to forgive himself ever.
Kaiden informed his spy team and all the pack members spread to different parts of the city to look for this girl.
With clenched fists, he ran towards the suburbs area in hopes of finding her. He even asked the state security to not let the rogue leave the state if they had left the city.
It happened two hours ago. He could only hope that the moon goddess would be on his side and wouldn’t take away his only hope of love from him.
Then again, would that really be her fault? She gave Anastasia to him like a blessing in disguise, and the people he called his family tried to take the blessing away from him.
He shook his head and focused on finding Anastasia, not wanting to waste his time on useless thinking.
Meanwhile, in the hidden parts of the forest near the lake, Grayson looked at the sleeping girl in his arms as he sat on one of the chairs. He had been fooling around, enjoying his free life for the past three months, but it wasn’t like he didn’t know how hard she was working. It was a good thing that he never rejected the pack bond like Anastasia did. And probably Jackson never thought of it.
That was the reason even when he was roaming around like a rogue, he was still allowed to live freely because he was also a pack member. He had been using the excuse of business to go around the nation.
Honestly, he wanted to stay with Anastasia and help her with her revenge plan because, to him, it was more exciting, but he also knew that the girl needed some time alone. That’s why after all these months, he finally thought that he had given her enough time and decided to return. When he had come here, he had never thought that the first sight he would see was of her running out of the pack in such a humiliating form. Probably, she had a cursed fate with packs. No matter which packs she trusts, everyone lets her down one way or another.
Grayson patted her head softly before kissing her forehead, hoping some-
