Anastasia looked at the council head patiently, ready to hear the truth about her parents, when suddenly someone knocked on the door.
Derek groaned in annoyance before opening the door and looking at the person in front of him.
“What is it?” He asked.
“Sir, the alphas have started to arrive,” the subordinate said, and Derek looked at his father.
The council head was about to stand from his place when Draco stood.
“Don’t. We can handle and attend to the alphas. You can’t leave the girl hanging in the middle of the story when you have dropped one of the biggest truths on her. We will hear the rest of the story later, yeah?” Draco looked at Anastasia before he boldly walked around the table, bent and kissed her hair, leaving the room. without another word.
Anastasia looked at the back of the man until he disappeared as Derek followed suit. She wanted to ask them what this was all about, but she had important pressing matters at hand.
“So?” Anastasia looked at the council head, and he told her the story of her mom and dad.

It was the time when the Blue Heaven Pack was only expanding little by little. It was a small pack and wasn’t too Powerful.

“Woman, can you please keep speaking so I know the direction you are in? I have tied the handkerchief so you won’t feel uncomfortable,” Jake said, and Georgia was surprised to see such a gentleman.
Not everyone thinks of this kind of solution at the last moment. Most people would’ve just jumped into the water to help her and later wrapped their clothes. around her or just taken advantage of the situation.

“What are you doing here?” Jake asked when he felt the lady must’ve been caught off guard by the presence of a man of a different species.
“This is a magical lake. I just came here to ease my negative emotions. I can’t. perform magic to save myself and the rest, you know,” Georgia said in her sweet, innocent voice as she saw the man swimming towards her.
“What about you? You are clearly not a witch. What are you doing here?” The girl asked him, and he sighed.
“I came here to propose an alliance between the witch clan and my pack. I am the son of the alpha of the Blue Heaven pack. We have been trying to increase our presence in the world,” The man answered before he stopped.
Due to the magical water, his smelling powers weren’t working here, and the woman immediately realized the issue. She had stopped speaking.
“So, have you been able to persuade anyone?” She asked again, and the man just sighed, not giving any answer.
“Please say stop when I am a few inches away from you.” The man said, and the
lady nodded before softly whispering, “Okay,”
“You can stop,” she said, looking at the man’s features from up so close and to say she was smitten would be an understatement. Such a handsome man with such good manners, was such a man really available in real life?
“I’ll go down and try to get your foot free, but you’ll have to instruct me. Also, I ΤΗ might accidentally brush your legs apart from your feet, so please look down and use your hands to stop my body from touching yours,” The man said, and the lady hummed as she saw him going under the water.
He held her foot in a firm grip before patting the area around her ankle, and finally getting a hold of the branches and leaves, he tried to jerk them away. She noticed how he went even deeper just to avoid touching her body inappropriately and she smiled.
It wasn’t
course, she was entirely naked. She was wearing a white satin dress which, of
course, was body hugging and would not leave any chance to imagination, but it was still something.
Finally, the man was able to free her foot and rather than swimming up, he swam backwards to create a distance immediately.
The woman smiled.
She saw him looking around as if trying to find his way, and she swam towards him before holding his hand.
“Let me guide you to the end,” She said, and the man nodded gratefully.
Both of them exited the lake together, and the lady looked at him. He didn’t proceed to take off his handkerchief.

you decent, miss?” He rather asked and she smiled before clicking her hands. and changing her clothes immediately.
“I am,” she said, and he immediately removed the cloth from his eyes.
“Well, that was quick,” he mused before he turned around and grabbed his bag. “Where are you going?” The lady asked him with raised brows.

“My work here is done, so I am leaving. I have to attend the meetings with clans today,” he smiled, his hazel eyes looking even brighter in the sunlight.
“But what about your reward? I told you I would give you one,” she said. “Umm…if that’s the case, can you help me change these clothes? I don’t like the feeling of being wet all over,” the man scratched the back of his head, and the lady smiled before nodding.
That was how they met and soon whenever the man used to come to the
kingdom, she would wait for him near the lake.
What started as little encounters turned into long conversations, and sneaking their way to meet each other.

She did it all to free her daughter, but in the end, she gave her daughter a reason to be bound to this pain forever.
The council head told her the gist of everything and to say Anastasia was shocked would be an understatement.
Her eyes brimmed with tears, and the council head, Timothy, looked at the girl before sighing.
“I’ll give you some time alone for now. Once you have calmed down, we will talk about the important things later,” Timothy said and left the room.
As soon as he left, Anastasia fell on the ground, her hands flat on the floor as she hiccuped.
Her heart felt clogged with all emotions. So many sacrifices, so much pain her mom went through just to keep her alive and… and she only blamed her for leaving her like this.
How could she? How could she blame her mother and hate her? Anastasia slapped herself.
Ana, Dione whispered, feeling bad for the girl as her own heart crumbled at the whole truth.
“Please forgive me, mom. I have been a really really bad daughter. Mom, I am sorry. I don’t deserve your sacrifice. A bad daughter like me doesn’t deserve your selfless love. I don’t deserve anything, Mom. Aaaaaaaaal Aaaaaaal” Anastasia
screamed so loud that her screams reverberated in the council as the voice left through the windows.
Derek shook in his place when he heard it. He was about to turn around and rush to the meeting room when Draco held his hand.
“Don’t. She needs this time alone. Let her hug her pain. If we comfort her now, she will never be able to be free from it forever,” Draco said, and Derek looked at his brother with a heavy sigh.
“Woah? What was that all about? The sound seems familiar,” They heard a voice and looked up, their gazes darkening when they saw who it was.
