Nikolay
I watched as Katerina walked out of the house, or more specifically, attempted to. I wrapped my arm around her waist, stopping her, pulling her back inside before she could.
She frowned in confusion, and shaking her head in question, I sighed.
“I am going out.”
“And I am coming with you.” I said, raising a challenging eyebrow at her. She moved from my arms. and crossed her arms over chest, waiting for what I had to tell her. In truth, I had nothing to tell. her, but the fact that I knew that she was still angry and would be going out on her own was something that I didn’t want to approve of, especially since I didn’t know whether or not she would. encounter any paparazzi that could ask her questions. Her saying something about what happened, or being asked about it is not something that I want, especially since I didn’t know what her answer would be.

“I know that you are angry with me, and there is no way I can blame you for that, but you need to understand that this was the last thing that I wanted you to find out, especially the way that you did. Yes, I am aware

“Why would I?” She asked, making me frown. “You chose to disrespect me, treating me like some trash that you found on the street, and you chose her over me. I know my limits, and I know when it is time to step back, what I do not appreciate is being mistreated, and considering that you saw it as fit to do so, who the bloody hell am I to judge or ask you to do the opposite?”

“You should have really thought about it before kissing her out in public.” She said, stopping me. “Kiss her, fuck her, get her pregnant for all I could care, but why the fuck does it have to be so public? Why does everyone have to know to the point where…?”

The two of us are going through hell, and people don’t know it, and they do not have to.” She said, snapping at me. “If you didn’t know that you weren’t being followed, then you wouldn’t have stood in my way of going out. You asking me not to when our argument was fresh is because you know that media would be centering all the gossips between the picture we posted, the picture that was taken of you, and the fact that we are not even in the city.”
“You know what? I tried being gentle, and I tried to actually calm you…”
“You can go to hell with your tries, because they really mean nothing to me, Nikolay.” She said, making me frown. “I don’t want you to approach me, and I will not approach you, but the last thing I do expect is for you to be fucking rude about it. I will fulfill my duties as your wife in public, but once the two of us have entered a private room, the last thing I want from you is to approach me.”
“And who the fuck are you to decide what I do and don’t do?” I asked, raising an eyebrow at her, challenging her.
“A human being, a person with a mind, and her own thoughts. My apologies, but you did not marry a slave to your needs.” She said, turning to the door. “Now, if you will excuse me, I need to get myself some new clothes.”
