Katerina:
“Nikolay,” I said, cupping my husband’s cheek as I tried to calm him down.
He tried going to the company today only to be surprised when he found himself practically locked out as his mum gave the order to NOT permit him inside.
Despite the man being the CEO, and the reason of the company
prospering, his mum forbade him from stepping foot inside the building, and that fact alone confused me.
“What? What do you want now, Katerina?” He asked, glaring at me, taking me off guard. I let his cheeks go, stepping back, frowning at his reaction before reminding myself that the man was not only confused, but also annoyed.
“I am trying to help you find a solution to this, and what you are doing is not going to get you anywhere. She is doing this on purpose…”
“You just don’t want to go back to the house…”
“And do you?” I asked, stopping him. “If you do, I am going to pack now and go to her, but I don’t think that you want to live with a woman who treats you like fucking trash. I understand that this is frustrating to deal with…”
“If you find it frustrating, then get the fuck out and leave.” He snapped, making me frown in confusion at his translation of words. I took a deep breath, fighting the anger that I had forming in my chest at his attitude, one which he didn’t even seem to notice. The fact that he was acting the way that he was, was far more annoying, the man was simply being rude.

him to say one, knowing that it wouldn’t do me good, plus, I needed some fresh air anyway; therefore, going out was going to make me rest.
The man has been having this attitude with me for the past week, since his mum came by the other day. Had it been up to me, I would have just left. all together, but I chose to be that good and patient wife, it seems that wasn’t working out as planned though. The man was literally becoming ruder by the day, and that was starting to get on my nerves.
My heart raced as I sat on one of the benches, trying to find a reason to why he was treating e the way that he was. I mean, I couldn’t be as bad as to be treated that way, right? I didn’t do anything that deserved that kind of treatment, and yet, the man still treated me like I was some sort of trash bin that he just wanted to get rid of.
“I take it that you are finally giving up.” I heard from behind me, frowning when I saw his mum standing behind me with her arms crossed over her chest. She walked toward me, motioning for me to take a seat. I frowned, watching as she sat down. Two men, her driver and the security guard that often followed her stood a few meters away from us, clearly able to listen to every word that I said.
My heart raced as I looked at the woman, and choosing not to play with fire, I sat as she asked me to. My eyes met hers, and I shook my head in question. “You were here?”

like to see you trying to explain how this happened to the cops, I will even help you with that.” She said, stopping me, her tone hardening. I looked down at my lap, taking a deep breath, and she smiled, noticing that she had her upper hand. My heart raced, breaking because of her.
“What do you want from me?” I asked, shaking my head at her, wanting to end this conversation as fast as I can. The woman had to be mental if she thought that I would be ignoring this or leaving it at bay, Slowly clicking my smartwatch, thankful that I forgot to take it off after my workout, I was careful not to look at her as my headset which was hidden with my hair told me which button I was touching, I clicked on the record button all while keeping my eyes on hers. Thankfully, being winter, hiding my hand in my sleeve didn’t really make any difference as it meant that I could be too cold to cope with the weather, especially considering the fact that I wasn’t wearing a heavy coat.
“First, you are going to withdraw the complaint that you had about me. You would tell the cops that you managed to solve things between us as a family, and second, you and Nikolay are going to come back to the house. Whether or not you like it, I don’t care, the man is my son and I will not allow a child like yourself ruin his opportunities.” She said, glaring at me. “And if you do try to complain, I will be sure to file the fact that you haven’t been doing your duties with him as a wife. I believe that you two have been married for over a moth now, and I do not think that you have allowed him to touch you once. What do you think the judge would say when he hears that you are still a virgin while being married?”
“The man had a woman in his bed on the next morning…”
“He had her in his bed, under our same roof, in the room right next to yours on the very night you arrived to the house.” She said, glaring at me. “You do realize that if the judge hears about this, then he is going to end up facing deep shit for compensation?” I asked, glaring at the woman who smiled.
“I believe that your word against a whole security team, my rigged videos, and my son’s words would be enough for him to believe us, don’t you? Whereas, you, you will not be able to hide the fact that you are a virgin. Even if you do try to play a funny game if tearing your hymen…”
I stayed quiet, looking down at my lap as the woman spoke, momentarily thankful for the fact that she didn’t realize that I was recording every word she said. “Nikolay can always file for YOU cheating on him as we were told that you weren’t touched by another man, and my son was yet to touch you, how are you not a virgin?”
“What do you want from me?” I asked, shaking my head at the woman, quickly realizing that there was no escaping this. If they had all this planned, then I would better play along as not to have them suspecting anything. The last thing I needed was to lose this.
“Now you are choosing to be smart.” She stated, and I glared at her. She smiled, tempting me, but again, I chose to stay quiet as I rubbed my hands together, wanting to warm myself. “You and my son will be back to the house before the week ends. Otherwise, I will be sure that everyone, and I literally mean it, everyone knows that you are refusing to satisfy your husband. I believe that you know the media and the rumors that they can spread, and the last thing that you want is to have your name on every billboard in the city as the woman who was refusing to have her husband touch her, what was her secret or reason?”

shoulder, making me wince. I knew to stay completely still, not wanting her to see the headphone, but I was sure to act completely normal for her not to suspect anything.
“I want a grandchild, therefore, rather than choosing to use that sass. mouth against me, I do suggest that you use it to satisfy your husband. Now, go, you have five days…”
My heart raced against my ribcage as I watched them walking away. She didn’t bother looking at me, but I was careful not to move an inch that revealed that I had a watch on to begin with, keeping in mind the fact that she had men watching us. More specifically, at this point, watching me.
I got up from the bench, mentally cursing myself as fear coursed through my body at the fact that they could have seen me. However, choosing to walk very fast, I entered the building, thankful that no one stopped me, and it wasn’t until I entered the house that I was able to let out a breath that I didn’t realize I was holding.
“What’s wrong with you?” Nikolay asked, breaking my train of thoughts, snapping me out of my momentary daze. I stayed quiet for a few seconds before shaking my head, making sure to remind myself that even he wasn’t trusted. A man who brought in a woman to the house when his bride was in the other room on her wedding night was not a man that I could think of trusting.
“We are going back to your house.” I said, choosing to be direct and blunt. There was no point in playing a game that I couldn’t handle.
“I beg your pardon?” He asked, frowning in confusion, clearly trying to understand whether or not he was hearing me correctly. I kept her words in my head, reminding myself that I wouldn’t be able to handle her on my own. However, instead of removing the file, I was going to work with my lawyer to ruin this family from the inside. Not only would I have the cops. interfere in this, but I was not going to be the one to get out of this marriage as a loser.

But first of all, I needed my lawyer, and a cop to hear this recording, keeping a copy with each one of them, ensuring that I could delete mine. “I am going to the station tomorrow to withdraw on the protection program, and the two of us will go back to the house.”

“It is what you wanted, isn’t it?” I asked, stopping him. He frowned in confusion, shaking his head in question as he tried understanding where I was coming from this.
“Yes, but I never…”
“Okay, this is what you will get.” I said, stopping him. “The two of us will pack and go tomorrow after I withdraw the program. That is it. Now please, if there isn’t anything that you want to tell me, I am going to take a shower.”
I walked past him before he could say a word, and entering my room, I let out a heavy breath before turning off the recording and saving it. I turned it on, thankful for the headphone that I was wearing, wanting to listen to how clear the voice was. “First, you are going to withdraw the complaint. that you had about me. You would tell the cops that you managed to solve things between us as a family, and second, you and Nikolay are going to come back to the house…”
I smiled and nodded, biting my bottom lip as I closed it before taking my headset and watch off. My heart raced as I set my things on the counter before I lay on my bed, taking a deep breath.
“You really did mess with the wrong woman…”
