Mia woke up. She saw Mason and moved to stand up. He walked briskly over and pressed down on her shoulders, “I’m leaving soon!” Opening the ward door, he left and closed it gently.
Mia looked at Zoe and was about to say something, but she chose
not to in the end.
Two days later, Gordon’s condition was stabilized. He could be discharged anytime.
Then, Zoe got some good news. Rosemary gave her a call, speaking with her sophisticated tone, “I never knew you were really Aiden’s favorite mentee, Zoe! Here’s the thing. Terrence has a friend who’s insanely rich and looking for an excuse to spend his money. It just so happens that he loves classical music.
