Rosemary might be forty years old, but she retained her charm and her eyes were looking very seductive now. 

Terrence had a lover on the side recently, but it had been a long time since he was intimate with her. He was aroused by Rosemary suggestive eyes and walked over to wrap his arms around her waist in hopes of having sex with her.

Kristen didn’t look at Ella until Clayton was dragged out of the room. She looked miserable with her torn-up dress and smudged makeup. It was hard to see her as a decent lady. 

Ella grew nervous. She was scared Kristen would blame her for seducing her husband, as people tend to do. So, she was very surprised when Kristen said, “The location is yours!” 

She was stunned. 

Kristen looked at her and asked one of the bodyguards to take off his coat. Then, she put it on for Ella personally and said softly, “Zoe’s waiting for you outside. It’s time you go home!” 

With tears in her eyes, Ella strolled out of the room and found her friend standing at the door. 

Their fingers clasped tightly as Ella embraced her and burst into tears. 

Ever since the tragedy that befell her, she had finally stood up for herself. From that point on, she was no longer Leslie’s ex-lover on the side. Instead, she was Zoe’s aide.

The street light cast a long shadow behind them as they walked out of the hotel. They didn’t have anyone worthwhile supporting them. It was no easy feat for them to get recognized and respected, but they did it. 

All because they refused to stay weak and give up their principles. 

A black Bentley was parked by the side of the road, its rear seat window was lowered by half. Mason stared at both of them for a long time. 

He didn’t get it. Why would she choose to work so hard just to get something that would’ve been easily obtainable if she’d returned to him?
