Chapter 243
Leslie felt as if someone stabbed him in the heart.
He kept holding her and tried to stop her from speaking or leaving
him.
He’d take any moment he could with her.
Ella roared, “I don’t need your stupid hotel.” She tore up the ownership transfer agreement. “Get the hell out!”
Then, she said, “I don’t love you and you’re not even worth my hatred!”
Leslie looked like a lost soul when he came out of her ward. His shirt was bloodied. It was a frightening sight.
Nellie was standing right outside.
She saw him coming out and sneered, “Missing the bitch again, aren’t you? You’re the one who made her who she is today, Leslie. If you hadn’t been so obsessed with her…”
He slapped her across the face. Then, he choked her and pinned her to the wall. Nellie couldn’t breathe, Her face started turning purple and her arms thrashed about, trying to pull his arm off her neck. However, that didn’t stop her from speaking foolishly.
“How is she better than me? I’m a Lynch, and she’s nothing more than an expensive prostitute!”
He wished so much that he could just strangle her until her breath ran out. His eyes turned red and he slapped her again, “I’ll kill you if you lay a finger on her again! I swear I will!”
Nellie was shocked. She could tell he wasn’t kidding. If something

After a long time, she laughed suddenly. She laughed so hard that tears began streaming down her cheeks. “If you love her so much, then why didn’t you marry her? Why did you marry me, Leslie?!”
She was right. Why didn’t he marry Ella?
The thing was, not even Leslie had an answer.
A week later, Ella was discharged from the hospital and Zoe took her to the graveyard.
It was early in the morning, and there were dewdrops on the leaves of the bushes. The scent of wet earth filled the air as well.
Ella’s unborn baby was buried here. There was a small tombstone in front of the small mound, engraved with his name.
Going down on her knees slowly, her dress was sullied by the dirt in the process, but she couldn’t care less about it. Running her fingers. across her baby’s name, she couldn’t help but imagine the moment he would’ve been born if not for everything that happened.
She said softly, “I’m sorry, baby. I failed to keep you safe! Forgive me
Zoe was standing next to her, raising her head and trying hard to fight back the tears, She felt sorry for Ella, but she didn’t intend to comfort her now. She’d let her cry to her heart’s content this once because she might snap if she didn’t.
Then, she walked out of the graveyard. The sun shone on her and her tears caught the light and glinted.

A black limousine was parked at the entrance to the graveyard. The window was lowered by half, revealing his dashing features. He
as staring at her, affection in his eyes.
Zoe stopped and looked at him from afar.
After a brief moment, he opened the car door and said softly, “Get in the car! I’m taking you somewhere.”
Her heart started pounding.
She didn’t turn him down because this was all part of the deal. He’d save Ella and she’d come back to his side. She’d make a baby with him and live out the rest of her life with him.
White doves flew over a majestic church. He helped her get changed into a white wedding gown and the white veil. Taking her hands across the empty church, he went through all of the rituals they rushed through in their first wedding
He kissed her forehead in front of the altar and put a pink diamond ring on her finger. It was radiant and glowing.
Lowering his head, he kissed her hand while he spoke in a deep voice, “For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part. We’ll never divorce each other again!”
With that, he raised his eyes and looked at her.
Zoe’s finger twitched slightly. “None of this was necessary, Mason!”
“I wanted to do it!” he said in a husky voice.
Lifting her veil, he kissed her tenderly. Then, he kissed her from every possible angle and absorbed her sweet nectar until her legs started shaking lightly.
