Chapter 442
Noah stared at her reddened face.
Gwynn was young and she hadn’t have sex with anyone before him. He was her first. She had no idea how to cover up her reactions, nor did she know how to control them. Just one session was enough to
wear her out.
However, Noah was in the prime of his life. He was virile and had a strong sense of lust. Once wasn’t even close to enough! On top of that, he hadn’t been home for almost a week now!
By the time he had his fill, everything was a mess. Gwynn had straight up passed out after shivering for a spell. Lowering his head, he
admired the fruits of his labor.
She looked downright miserable.
Moments later, he wiped semen and sweat off of her before carrying her to the second floor. Needless to say, he wasn’t about to bathe her or do anything a loving partner would do.
Instead, he threw a blanket over her and hopped into the shower.
He had had his fun. There was no need to feel anything for her.
Gwynn woke up to the sight of Noah dressed in a sharp outfit. He was c
clearly on his way out. Sitting up, she asked him softly, “Are you leaving again?”
He pinched her cheeks lightly in response. In fact, he was merely toying with her feelings. Being the naive, innocent young lady that she was, she could never have realized it.
All she knew was that the man she loved was about to leave again. He hadn’t even stayed in their home for more than a few hours.
Did he realize that this was their shared home?
Tying up a necktie, he said lightly, “I gave this month’s allowance to Winola. Focus on your studies and come back home immediately after class. I’ll swing by again when have the time.”
He had arranged everything for her. All he asked from her was to obey his every word. She didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Everything seemed as good as it could be.
However, Gwynn felt that something was off. It seemed the only thing she had done was to wait for him to come home.
She didn’t have any friends or family
From time to time, she’d miss him so much that she couldn’t fall asleep. She’d end up calling him, only to have his beautiful assistant answer it and tell her that he was busy with work and business
meetings.
He told her to be more mature about it.
As time went by, she began to lock herself in this cage, which was disguised as an extravagant manor. She only ever went to college and nowhere else.
She had been submissive all this while, but something was differe about her today. She didn’t want to obey him for once.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, she mustered up her courage and said, “It’s the weekend, Noah. I want you to stay with me!”
He responded by staring at her with his dark eyes. There was a trace of surprise as well as disdain in them, but she probably didn’t notice it.
That was right. He looked down on her.
The only reason he married her was to exact his revenge on her elder brother. He had only spent time with her when he was still trying to
win her heart back then. Now, he no longer saw a good reason to keep up the pretense.
Plucking her hands off of him, he proceeded to soothe her half- heartedly, as if he didn’t see the disappointment in her eyes. “There, there! The chauffeur’s waiting for me downstairs as we speak.”
Gwynn wasn’t a fool. She, too, knew what this meant.
Her voice was so soft when she asked, “You don’t love me anymore.
Is that it?”
Noah was already at the door and holding the doorknob by then. He heard what she said, turned around slowly, and looked at her.
Flashing her a tender smile, he said, “Of course, I love you, silly!”
The next thing she knew, he turned around and left, without so much as a casual glance at her.
She was still naked on the bed when she drifted off into a trance. At the next moment, she heard the sound of an engine starting in the
yard.
Noah had left her.
On the same night, Noah had a scandal with a famous lady in Silvercrest. They were hugging and kissing each other in the bar, largely ignoring everyone around them as they locked onto each other’s fiery gazės.
Gwynn might’ve been naive, but she was very sensitive when it came to this stuff. She knew this was his real answer.
He didn’t love her! The fact that he cheated on her was strong proof!
On top of that, he was confident that she wouldn’t dare think about leaving him. He knew it because she loved him with every fiber of her being!
He had done enough work on her that he had completely won her
heart. After all, she was naive. Top that off with the way he had set her up, causing her to lose the ability to make social connections in the past year.
