I Refuse to Divorce! by Light Breeze Chapter 443

Chapter 443

Gwynn was reading the newspaper, which detailed about her

husband’s scandal in a luxury restaurant. A blue French vase and a silver candlestick were laid out on the table neatly.

All of a sudden, she received a text message. It was from an

unknown number.

“Hi, Gwynn! My name’s Maddox. I’d like to know you better. Would you like to be friends with me?”

She stared at it for a long time. All of a sudden, she wanted to know how it felt to be loved for real. So, she accepted the young man’s

request.

Three days later, Noah’s servant gave him a call. “Ms. Gwynn has been taking the bus home from college for the past few days, Mr. Noah.” That wasn’t what she was trying to convey to her master. There was more. “She seemed very happy whenever she got home.”

He responded lightly, “I see.”

Putting down his phone, he leaned over and made a call with the landline. “I need you, Kim.”

A moment later, his beautiful assistant, Kim, came into his office. “Is there anything I can help you with, Mr. Noah?”

Leaning back on his chair, he reached up and ran his hand through his hair. Raising his head, he looked at the LED light strips on the ceiling.” Give me Gwynn’s schedule for the day.”

Smiling, she responded, “Right away, Mr. Noah.”

She was very efficient and got it immediately. Smiling again, she reported her findings. “Ms. Gwynn only has one class in the

afternoon, Mr. Noah. She’ll be free after three o’clock!” Checking on the time, she added, “It’s half past two now.”

He stood up and left the office. “I’m not coming back to work for the rest of the day.”

“Got it, Mr. Noah,” Kim said, with a smile.

Half an hour later, a black Maybach drove slowly into Silvercrest Art College.

Summer was on its last legs, but the paper birch trees lining either side of the road still displayed green leaves. The sunlight shone in through some of the leaves and cast a few golden rays onto the road.

A gentle breeze blew past, chilling the air around the road.

A young, innocent couple rode on a bicycle, subtle timidness traced across their faces. The sight was so romantic and full of life.

Noah, on the other hand, watched on with a blank face as he sat in the black Maybach.

He simply stared wordlessly as his wife held another man’s waist blatantly getting intimate with another man who wasn’t her husband She had ridden on the same bicycle and had lunch with the young

man.

She even let the young man hold her by her hips.

The chauffeur saw it too. He was so startled he didn’t dare say a word. Was she actually cheating on his master in public?

At the next moment, Noah got out of the car.

Gwynn was saying her farewells with that young man. It was obvious both of them fancied each other and were reluctant to part ways.

Then, Noah showed up and held her gently by the hips, demonstrating his dominance over her. He looked at the young man and spoke to his wife softly, “Is this your classmate, or one of your friends?”

Noah was young, handsome, and wealthy.

The young man was rooted to the spot. Then, he asked instinctively,” Gwynn, who’s this?”

“I’m her husband!” Noah responded plainly.

Needless to say, he wasn’t about to say too much to a punk in the middle of the road. What he had to do now was to take his wife back

home.

By the time the young man came to his senses, Noah had led Gwynn back into the car.

The luxurious Maybach was something the young man could never dream of having. Clenching his fists, he found himself losing the courage to go after them.

It was dark in the car.

Noah loosened his tie, turned to the side, and stared at Gwynn.

She was dressed differently today. Instead of her branded outfits, s wore a casual V-neck knitted sweater, paired with dark-colored lo pants. Her black hair cascaded on her shoulders, accentuating he innocence and youth.

After a brief moment, he pulled a cigarette out of his front pocket and started smoking. Wisps of smoke lingered in the car as he asked her in a husky voice, “Care to explain?”
