The party was going strong. 

Sweeping her eyes across the mansion, she still couldn’t see Ella. Perhaps her friend was still on her way.

He said that, but, at the next moment, he swiped her glass from her and put it on a tray when a waiter passed by. The next thing she knew, he grabbed her lean wrist and held her waist aggressively, forcing her to dance with him. 

This was the only occasion where he could get away with doing something like this with her. 

Underneath the gleaming crystal chandelier, she said furiously, “I you, Liam. I can’t help you with your younger sister! Noah took h overseas and I don’t know where they are now.” 

Liam kept his gaze on her. 

He knew she wasn’t lying and she also knew she didn’t fly to Silvercrest for him. Instead, she was only concerned about Noah. She didn’t want her brother to keep going down the wrong path. That was 

all. 

Then, the music changed. 

Gripping her slender waist tightly, they began to dance more intimately in tune with the music. The dance was a little flirty too. 

Lowering his head, he leaned in close and murmured, “What if I give up on finding Noah and focus on making you my woman instead? If I force myself on you, Mason probably could never fall in love with you again! After all, he is a proud man.” 

Sneering, she responded, “Are you out of your mind, Liam?” 

After a brief pause, she said, “You might not know this, but I no longer hold my chastity as sacredly as I had in the past. It isn’t my fault that a man forced himself on me! 

“If it bothers Mason so much, then I’ll just live my life to the fullest. he could see his way past it, then I’ll live the rest of my life with him!” 

Liam was visibly stunned. 

He asked gently, “Mason can’t even walk now. Why do you still love him so? Why won’t you leave him? Aren’t you supposed to find someone better than him and make him feel bad?” 

Lowering her gaze, she chuckled dryly and cut him off, “Love was never about letting your emotions get the better of you. For that matter, it isn’t about punishing someone and getting revenge e

Mason.” 

She didn’t embarrass herself. Instead, she finished the dance with 

Liam. 

What she didn’t know was that Mason was staring at her quietly at the mansion door. 

There he was, sitting in his wheelchair and watching her dancing with Liam. He saw it when Liam held her waist and how intimate they were during the dance. 

He also saw the lust and desire in Liam’s eyes.
