Mason had spoken the truth.
She did come here for a blind date. However, she couldn’t have predicted that it’d be Saül.
With that said, she wasn’t about to appear weak before Mason.
Leaning on the car window, she said coldly, “So what if it was a blind date? We’re no one to each other, Mason. You don’t have the right to
stop me from going on dates!”
Instead of responding to her, he was content with staring at her quietly.
After a long time, Zoe intended to get out of the car. At the next moment, she heard a soft click. Mason had locked her in once again.
She turned to the side and looked at him. She still couldn’t read his
face. He was staring right at her when he said, “We have an agreement, Zoe. We could ask each other out if we want to have sex! What’s the matter? Did it slip your mind?”
Zoe was both mortified and upset at what he said.
They might’ve been married and slept with each other countless times in the past, but she still couldn’t take it every time he blatantly talked about it.
Biting her lips, she said, exasperated, “I’m not feeling it tonight!”
At the next moment, he leaned so close to her that he could easily catch a whiff of alcohol off of her. He stared at her for a brief moment before he asked deliberately, “Are you not feeling it? Or, do you not want to do it with me?”
Turning her face aside, she pretended to be calm and cold, “You’ve

With that, he sat upright, stepped on the gas pedal, and drove the car out of the parking lot. His legs were working so well that it was hard for her to imagine he used to be in a wheelchair for a couple of years!
He could just guess what was running through Zoe’s mind right now. Fixing his gaze at the traffic, he said blankly, “The power of love

There was something different about him, she thought to herself.
He could never say something like this in the past. He would’ve
deemed it too shameful.
She thought he’d take her to the hotel. After all, he was gripped with anger. On top of that, he made it clear that he wanted to get laid. Never had she thought he’d actually take her back to his manor, the place where they spent most of their married life.
The black Bentley pulled into his yard.
Once he turned off the engine, she wasn’t exactly happy with how things turned out. Leaning over, she said, “I don’t want to stay here,
Mason.”
He was staring at her with a faint trace of anger in his eyes.
After a brief moment, he said tenderly, “It’s fun to do it in the hotel, but it isn’t exactly hygienic.”
Gee. He could be a sweetheart if he wanted to! Zoe thought to herself.
Then, he got out of the car, walked over to her side, and yanked her out of the car. It had been raining earlier and the ground was all slippery now. On top of that, Zoe was wearing a pair of high heels. The moment he yanked her, she staggered and fell right into his

She was about to stand upright again when he held her slender waist and looked at her. He asked gently, “Did you dress up for the blind
date?”
Wearing a black dress with a delicate gilded strap, her long black hair cascaded on her back, making her look both seductive and charming.
He had never seen her wearing anything like this.
At that moment, he was wracked with so much jealousy that he could just blow Saül’s head off!
Paying him no mind, she pushed him away gently. “I’m single. What’s the problem if I dress this way?”
He didn’t respond to that. Instead, he swooped her up, walked into his manor, and made his way to the bedroom on the second floor.
Layla and the other servants saw both of them coming in, but they pretended as if they didn’t see a thing. After all, they themselves were young once. Obviously, their master and mistress were about to
make some sweet love.
Not long after, everyone left the place and gave them some privacy.
Mason carried Zoe all the way to the master bedroom and put her down on the bed. Standing upright, he took off his coat and
unbuttoned his shirt. He said deliberately, “No problem at all! In fact, I
love it.”
He had just undid three buttons, but he could no longer wait.
Diving at her, he murmured, “I want you now.” However, he wasn’t rough with her the way he did a couple of nights ago. He was all gentle and smooth. Like he said, held cherish and respect her for the
