Waldron didn’t listen to her explanation at all, and asked Claudia instead, “How do you want to vent anger?”
Gilda cried and said, “Waldron, she bullied me first…”
Waldron looked angry and said, “Don’t call me like that!”
Waldron felt angry because Claudia was his guest. “Apologize to her!”
Gilda kept silent.
“If you can’t say it, then kneel.”
Gilda was scared and trembled.
People around realized that Waldron was serious. They stepped back, worrying about offending him.
When the atmosphere became intense. A gentle voice sounded. “Waldron, she is our relative.”
The voice was very tender.
The man who walked over wore gla**es. He looked like a gentleman.
The most characteristic was his hair. It was curly and slightly long, casually tied behind his head. He looked elegant and handsome.
This man was Ervin Friedan, the eldest son of the Friedan family.

Seeing Ervin, Gilda broke out into laughter in the middle of tears. She hurriedly walked up to Ervin. “Ervin.”
Ervin nodded and elegantly walked up to Claudia. “Mrs. Lamont, in case you catch a code, you’d better go change up. Please don’t worry. We’ll surely give you a satisfying explanation.”
He signaled a maid who was standing by, and the maid walked to Claudia respectfully.
Ervin was well-mannered. Claudia took a look at her clothes and left with the maid.
After Claudia walked away, Waldron wasn’t stopping. He crossed his arms and looked at Ervin provocatively. “What kind of explanation are you giving her?”
“Waldron, for our uncle’s sake, we’d better not make this big.”
He wanted Waldron to let it slide.
Waldron wasn’t surprised.
His dad very much valued the idea of family and was always protective of the people of the Friedan family.
Like what his dad had said, since they were all Friedans, he should take care of them, including these ret arded relatives, even just for the sake of the family’s reputation.
“I don’t care what you’ll do. But I will not make Claudia suffer any injustice.”

Waldron made it clear.
Surprise appeared on Ervin’s handsome face. “It’s the first time I’ve seen you so protective of a girl.”
“Ervin.” Waldron moved close to him mysteriously. “You don’t think she is different from all the other girls?”
Different?
Ervin frowned and thought of the recent news about him and Edmond.
He knew Waldron. Waldron wasn’t like what the news said he was. He had tried to suppress the news but Waldron stopped him.
Waldron did it intentionally to protect Claudia.
With Waldron looking at him expectantly, Ervin teased, “She’s prettier than most but not really very special.”
Waldron scoffed with disappointment.
As expected, only he had lived with Tania. And the rest had already forgotten her face.
“Waldron, fool around as all you want. But you don’t want to lay your hands on Edmond’s woman,” Ervin warned.
With an emotionless face, Waldron explained carelessly, “I see her as my sister, and nothing else.”
Ervin chuckled. “You sound like a pla yboy.”
“Whatever you say.” Waldron rolled his eyes at Ervin. “I’ll go check on her.”
Claudia was taken to a room not far away by the maid. It was a room
for clothes and was full of all kinds of fancy clothes.
“This is our young lady’s dressing room. And there’re a lot of clothes no one has ever worn. The young master said you can pick anything you like here.” The maid led her further in.
And she wasn’t lying. All the clothes here were brand-new.
The young lady she mentioned was none other than Elva, who was adopted by the Friedan family.
This was only a dressing room and it was already so amazing. Obviously, the Friedan family loved the adopted daughter very much.
Claudia was a bit envious.
“Ms. Lloyd, since Mr. Friedan said so, please go ahead and pick anything you like. I’ll wait for you outside.” The maid thought she wasn’t moving because she was shy.
After the maid left the room, Claudia glanced at the clothes hanging there, and instantly, she found one very familiar.
It was a dress that was exactly the same as the one she was wearing.
She reached for it and found that it was even the same size.
What a coincidence.
She pulled the curtain and planned to change when she suddenly saw a figure.
It was a woman. She was all curled up, her head in her arms.
When Claudia was stunned, the woman suddenly raised her head.
When their eyes met, Claudia’s mind went blank for a moment.
