Chapter 47 Get Out
The a**istant Rodney on the side listened with tears streaming down his face.
Edmond, hold on!
How could you easily believe Rosalie’s provocation?
The conversation between the two made Rodney both angry and
anxious.
He glanced outside the car and realized it had been almost an hour. He wondered why Claudia hadn’t returned yet after buying something.
He gripped the steering wheel, his eyes constantly glancing in the rearview mirror.
In fact, Edmond could never understand Rosalie’s attitude.
He liked Rosalie, but there was a slight lack of feeling. If he didn’t like Rosalie, then why did he agree to marry her?
Edmond, if you were threatened by Rosalie, just blink your eyes.
He always felt that there was a secret between Edmond and Rosalie. As an a**istant, his abilities were limited, but that didn’t mean he was willing to let Rosalie become his boss.
Seeing that the car was not moving, Rosalie urged softly, “Rodney, go to ‘Tide ONE’ formal dress store.”
Rodney saw that his boss didn’t say anything, so he eventually stepped on the gas pedal and navigated to the most famous formal dress and

wedding gown store in town.
But he deliberately or inadvertently slowed down the pace.
What if Edmond had a change of heart halfway through?

Claudia got out of the taxi with big and small bags in her hands. She walked a few steps and from a distance, she saw several cars parked in front of her own gate, with other people standing beside them.
Claudia paused her steps, just as she was about to walk past, Derrick, who was standing next to the car, spotted her at once.
After being “educated” by Ervin, he was arranged to bring Claudia home from here.
“I remember tonight is a family banquet, why do we have to invite an outsider?” Derrick frowned as he looked at Ervin, who made the
request.
Ervin looked meaningfully and said, “I thoroughly investigated Bella, and her background seems a bit suspicious. She might not be Seraphina.”
“What does this have to do with Claudia?”
“Claudia might have been Seraphina.”
Derrick: ”
་་
Thinking about Ervin’s speculation, he was both annoyed and helpless.
In his heart, he didn’t want Claudia to be Seraphina at all. How could such a malicious woman be Seraphina?
Ervin had made up his mind and didn’t want to make Ervin unhappy, so he eventually came over to pick her up.
Claudia saw Derrick and instinctively furrowed her brows.
Seeing her like this, Derrick frowned disapprovingly and said, “What, not happy to see me?”
Claudia looked at the few bodyguards behind him and asked cautiously, “What do you want to do?”
Derrick looked at the few people behind him and furrowed his brow in confusion. Why do they look like bad guys?
He remembered that when facing Waldron, she always had a smile on her face, as if she was wearing colored gla**es when looking at him.
Was he really that unbearable?
He sneered and reluctantly opened the car door, saying, “Get in, we’re having a family banquet at our house tonight. Ervin asked me to invite you.”
Family Feast…
Thinking about the potential relationship between herself and the Friedan family, Claudia unconsciously furrowed her brows.
“What is there to hesitate about?” Derrick urged impatiently.
“Thank you, I didn’t go,” she glanced at Derrick and took out the key to unlock.
She is not a member of the Friedan family anymore, why would she go to attend the Friedan family’s family banquet?
“Don’t want to go?” Derrick glared, “Let me tell you, you have to go
today…”
Claudia picked up something and walked toward the courtyard gate. The door slammed shut with a loud “bang”, interrupting his words.
Derrick was firmly shut out.
“This person is the real ghost, not Seraphina!” Derrick’s anger surged to his head, and he clenched his fist, intending to smash the door. However, he smirked cun ningly, remembering Ervin’s instructions.
Ervin only said to Claudia to attend the family banquet, but she didn’t go. So, forcibly taking her away would also count as completing the mission, right?
Luckily, he was clever today and brought a few bodyguards with him.
“You…” he pointed at a few people, his eyes narrowed into slits, and ordered coldly, “Climb over the wall.”
Sure enough, these people were well-trained. Within a minute, the gate of the courtyard opened.
Claudia saw everything clearly inside the house.
She knew early on that she couldn’t stop Derrick. He wouldn’t bring so many people over if it was just to watch a show.
Derrick led a group of people and walked briskly toward the house. When he reached the door, he instructed the people behind him, “Come two of you.”
After all, it was trespa ssing into a famous mansion, and bringing too many people along, he was afraid of scaring her to tears.
Derrick and two bodyguards had just entered when a foot flew h orizontally and solidly kicked one of the bodyguards in the face.
The accident happened in an instant,
Derrick hadn’t even realized it yet, but Claudia had already withdrawn her leg and was now holding a frying pan, smashing it toward the remaining bodyguards.
“Wait, wait, wait! It’s all a misunderstanding!” Derrick quickly interjected.
Watching the bodyguard being kicked and writhing in pain on the ground, his heart grew colder and colder.
Claudia looked frail, how could she have such skills.
Claudia put down the frying pan, her eyes chillingly cold: “If you don’t want to get beaten up, then get out.”
Two bodyguards glanced at Derrick, who furrowed his brows and nodded at them, “You guys go out first.”
This Claudia was even more terrifying than he had imagined.
In the face of Derrick’s serious expression, Claudia’s clear eyes were filled with frost: “Derrick, this is my home, you are tres pas sing on private property.”
Derrick squinted his eyes. If being tough didn’t work, he had no choice but to show weakness.
“Sorry, I just offended you,” he sighed. “I was only desperate for you not to leave. It was my brother’s arrangement, and I was afraid of getting beaten up if I didn’t handle things well.”
Did the gentle Ervin used to beat people up?
Claudia sneered, “I said I wouldn’t go, you explain it to him and he will understand.”
“No, he couldn’t understand,” Derrick also felt helpless. “He said if you don’t go back today, then I don’t have to go back either. I admit that my behavior just now was very excessive. So, as long as you go with me today, you can make me do anything. I apologize for my previous excessive behavior toward you.”
Claudia laughed and said, “Was your previous inappropriate behavior referring to the incident on the surveillance or when you refused me to visit Waldron at the hospital?”
Derrick hesitated, “Let’s just call it even.”
It was rare to see him back down.
“Let’s go.”
“Did you agree?” Derrick’s eyes lit up.
“Um.”
She realized that if she didn’t leave with him today, he would probably stay at her house and refuse to leave.
Since it was Ervin’s request, she had to give Ervin face.
Furthermore, after Pedro told her about the paternity test, she couldn’t stop thinking about it and wanted to go see the Friedan family again, as well as the men tally unstable socialite.
Thinking back to the last time Emily hugged herself and called herself “Seraphina,” my nose immediately became sore.
Seeing Claudia agree, Derrick’s lips curled up slightly.
Girls are still quite easy to coax.
A few people got in the car and after the car had traveled a few
kilometers, Derrick suddenly remembered, “Oh no, did you forget to bring your formal attire?”
Claudia glanced at her casual coat and pants, and paused for a
moment. She had forgotten that families like the Friedan family, even when attending family banquets, were expected to wear formal attire.
“Later, when you arrive, put on a set of Elva that you haven’t worn before.”
“No need.” Even if it’s brand new, Elva would feel uncomfortable wearing her clothes men tally. “I can buy it now, there’s a store ahead called ‘Trend ONE’.”
She remembered that this store had both formal dresses and wedding
gowns.
The wedding dress she wore when she married Edmond before was ordered from this store.
