Inside the haunted house, the scene changed, but it remained eerie and terrifying.
Sherry entered the second secret room through a narrow passage. This secret room
had a vampire theme, with dim green lights on the walls and in the void. Thorns lined

“Joseph? Are you here?” Sherry called out softly. “If you can hear me, make a sound.”

Malcolm walked behind her, using his arm to protect her from bumping into the walls.
“Joseph is already eleven years old. If he’s scared, he will call for help. If we don’t hear
his voice, then he’s probably not here.”
Sherry pushed away his arm and explored the surroundings.
The mechanism in the previous room was relatively simple, requiring only a touch of the mechanism behind the door. Where could the mechanism in this secret room be?
