“You hit me?”
Sherry growled and raised her hand to slap her hard.
Smack.
“The first slap was for my uncle. He will no longer have an ungrateful daughter like you,
and I will take care of him. The second slap is for your shamelessness in intentionally
seducing your own brother–in–law!”
She used all her strength in those two slaps, causing Sophia to stagger back and
collapse to the ground.
Sophia’s makeup was perfectly applied today, and her outfit was carefully chosen. They
were the latest Burberry release, not yet available in the country. She only got them
because of Malcolm’s connections.
Everything had been ruined, her makeup had smeared, revealing her original dark skin
underneath, speckled like a zebra

Malcolm rushed out to help her but was taken aback by her appearance with smudged.

Sophia had always looked like this, with delicate and flawless makeup, a lovely and
elegant woman, since he had known her. Even in private, she would ask for the lights to
be turned off. He assumed it was due to her shyness, but he never expected her true
appearance to be like this.
Sophia frantically covered her face with her hands and yelled, “Where’s my bag? Where
are my mirror and foundation? I need to touch up my makeup.”

Malcolm stood there watching Sophia flee in embarrassment, covering her face and struggling to fix her makeup. He was overwhelmed with a mix of emotions.

“I don’t want anything. I just can’t stand the two of you bullying my sister, Sherry! Just
because she has a good temper and doesn’t argue with you doesn’t mean there’s no
one to stand up for her! Malcolm, let me tell you, you better control that ugly monster,
Sophia. If she dares to be arrogant in front of Sherry again, don’t blame me for being
impolite!”
Camila stood with her hands on her hips, imposingly pointing at Malcolm. Malcolm
couldn’t even answer a single question.

Sherry felt relieved after releasing her anger. However, as more people gathered to
watch, she felt the need to stop. “Camila, thank you for helping me vent and clear my
name. Let’s go,” she grasped Camila’s hand.
Camila clasped her hands and shouted, “Let’s go. I will introduce you to a male
celebrity.”
The two friends quickly escaped the crowd and stopped at the far end of the deck.
Oh my god, I can’t believe how ridiculous Sophia looked just now! Did you see it, Sherry? Malcolm’s face turned green when he saw her without makeup!” Camila said.

Sherry felt a warmth inside. She was fortunate to have a friend who would always
defend her.

from now on, if you need any help, just let me know. I’ll help as much as I can.”

temperament is exactly like hers!”
“I’m not that pure and cool, chuckled Sherry. “I don’t want to tarnish the celestial
being’s reputation by portraying someone as mediocre as me.”
After talking for a while and venting their anger, they both felt hungry.
“You wait here: I’ll go get something to eat, Camila explained.

Sherry turned around to see the dark blue sea against the night sky. She spread her
arms and closed her eyes, savoring the cool sea breeze flowing through her hair.

Herzoslovakia City was by the sea, but she had been busy for so many years, working to
support Sophia’s education and, after getting married, taking care of her mother–in–law
and doing household chores. She hadn’t had the chance to see the sea for herself.
When she returned to the shore, the lights were already on, but it looked just like any
other illuminated area.
At this time, everyone should be at home, right? The office workers and students would
have returned home, and the whole family would be there, enjoying a lively meal,
watching TV shows, and sharing daily anecdotes.
