Mateo remained silent and placed the menu directly in front of Sherry.
The menu had a hardcover, making a loud clang as it landed, startling Sherry.
“Did I startle you?” Mateo furrowed his brows and reached out to pat her, trying to
comfort her. However, Sherry quickly dodged his touch.

uncomfortable?”
