The car exhibition was a success.
Mateo attempted to reach out to Sherry numerous times, but all his calls
went straight to voicemail, except for the first call, which abruptly ended. He
couldn’t believe it and continued to call persistently.
Samuel anxiously observed from the sidelines, fully aware that Mateo was
like a ticking time bomb. He touched his nose and stood silently, refraining
from uttering a word.
The crowd at the car exhibition dispersed. The sales manager entered
excitedly to report the results, but Samuel intercepted him and quickly covered his mouth, signaling for him to remain quiet.
The sales manager nodded, indicating his understanding, and Samuel released his grip.
“All the car models on display today were sold, without exception. We also

folder in his hand.
Samuel rolled his eyes at him. Even if every car in the world were sold out,

expression and whispered to Samuel.
Samuel shrugged. “Who knows? He chased after Ms. Wilson earlier today in a
hurry, and he’s been like this ever since he returned.”

Samuel furrowed his brow. “The makeup artist we just hired!”
The sales manager slapped his forehead. “Oh, I remember now. Didn’t she

With a sarcastic laugh, Mateo said, “So, none of them came for my car, huh?”
Half of it was for Sherry, and the other half was for David. It seemed that it had nothing to do with his design.
