Chapter 11
After dinner, there was no unnecessary delay.
Ethan first sent Joseph home to the nanny and then returned to the car to take Kylie back.
“Mr. Hayden, there is no need to trouble yourself. I can take a taxi,” Kylie politely said.
“Not a trouble at all, and I must clarify that I won’t be the one behind the wheel,” Ethan casually replied, emphasizing that he wouldn’t be personally driving.
The driver suddenly felt a bit awkward when he heard that.
He felt like he should disappear on the spot.
Kylie suddenly became somewhat speechless as well.
They arrived at Bia Mansion quietly, and none of them spoke much on the way.
Kylie opened the car door.

Ethan seemed to smile.
In the night’s light, his handsome face smiled like a calamity.
He said, “I’m afraid that you will not believe it.”

Kylie stared at him.
Why did she feel like she was being drawn into Ethan’s trap?
“If you believe, Miss Stafford, don’t use these excuses to reject me in the future.”
Kylie looked at Ethan in surprise.
Did he just say these were excuses?
It was something any man would mind.
Sergio also minded.
“It’s late, Miss Stafford. Goodnight.” Ethan, gentlemanly, nodded.
Then he turned and returned to the car.

The ostentatious Maybach drove away from her.
It felt like he had wor this round in a domineering manner!
Kylie could not help but bite her lips.
There seemed to be a lingering touch of his on her lips.
Kylie took a deep breath.
She just treated it as being bitten by a dog.
She tried to calm down.
In the car.
Ethan answered another call.
“Ethan, you repeatedly ditched my appointments, but went to my family’s restaurant alone, and you,even made me kick someone out for you. Don’t you think you owe me an apology?” Joel’s complaining voice came from the other end.
“Thanks,” Ethan said indifferently.
“Who cares about your thanks? By the way, my restaurant manager told me that you brought a lady to dinner?”
“Yes.”
“Well, that’s hardly possible,” Joel exclaimed. “I once thought Jos didn’t have parents.”
Ethan didn’t know what to say.
“When can you introduce her to us? I’m so curious about who this mysterious person is that can conquer you,” Joel continued.
“I haven’t conquered her yet,” Ethan said.
“Haven’t conquered her?” Joel’s voice got louder, “Now I’m even more curious.”
“I have to go. Work call coming in,” Ethan said.
“Damn it…” Joel cursed.
Ethan hung up directly and then answered another call.
“Mr. Hayden.” Derick reported, “Shatrera Media under Hayden Group has indeed. invested in a TV series, with Salma as the female lead. It will start filming next month.”

“Change the female lead,” Ethan ordered.
“Is that OK?” Derick was somewhat hesitant.
“Why not?”
