In front of the relatives, Kylie did not refute Perla.
Instead, she sat in a corner of the sofa, appearing somewhat detached from the ongoing
conversation.
“Kylie, it’s your grandmother’s birthday. Didn’t you prepare a birthday gift?” Cohen’s younger sister, Lara Stafford, asked sarcastically.
Lara and her family had a close relationship with the Stafford family, benefiting from their association with Cohen. Rumors suggested that Lara had a connection with Mila during the time she was involved with Cohen,
Kylie sneered in her heart.
Kylie sneered inwardly, realizing that Perla and Sergio’s relationship was also thanks to Salma’s intervention.

Others in the room shamelessly chimed in, flattering Nadia’s appearance in the outfit.
“I’ve never seen such a good–looking outfit…”
A bunch of people began shamelessly flattering.
But Nadia was not so easy to deal with. Being given an outfit that could not be sold, would she be happy?
She could not vent her anger in front of everyone because that would embarrass herself.
But there was naturally a rift in her heart towards Perla.
Seizing the opportunity, Lara shifted the focus back to Kylie, asking about her gift. “Kylie, where’s your gift?” she inquired, deliberately making her uncomfortable.

Inside was a ruby necklace.
