After all, Ethan could not only recommend but also secure the endorsement without paying fees.”
“In my opinion, Mr. Cavanaugh, you are the best choice,” Kylie affirmed.
Leopold didn’t refuse either. “Let me check Zola’s filming schedule. I’ll message you back.”
“Thank you.” Kylie said.

“You’re welcome.” Leopold replied. After hanging up, he sat in front of the camera. It was now during a break from shooting.
“Help me get Zola’s recent filming schedule, Leopold told his assistant.
“Sure, Mr. Cavanaugh,” the assistant replied.
Leopold took a look after receiving the schedule and then walked to a corner of the set. He dialed Ethan’s number. “Ethan.”
“Hmm.” Ethan’s voice was cold.
“Kylie just called me.” Leopold got straight to the point.
There was a moment of silence on the other side of the phone.
Leopold smiled faintly. “She asked me to arrange a meeting with Zola. She has an endorsement deal to discuss.”
“Oh?” Ethan remained indifferent.
“I agreed. Barring any unexpected changes, it’s scheduled for tonight,” Leopold said.
The series just started filming, and the shooting schedule wasn’t too tight.
“You seem close to her.” Ethan’s voice was cold, with a hint of anger.
“Not really. Just a chance encounter. Leopold chuckled. “Just wanted to let you know. I’m busy now.”
The call was abruptly ended.
Leopold chuckled again. Just as petty as expected, he thought. He put down his phone and prepared to return to his position. Turning around, he saw Zola.
Zola ignored his smiling face and walked past him with an emotionless expression.
“Zola,” Leopold called out to her.
Zola stopped.

Chapter 36
You only have two scenes in the afternoon. You can finish before four o’clock, Leopold said.
“And then?” Zola asked indifferently.
“I have a friend who wants to talk to you about a business endorsement. If you’re free, we can have dinner tonight.” Leopold replied.
“I already have plans to have dinner with Quintina.” Zola refused him directly. “If it’s about endorsement, just contact my agent. Do you have her number, or should I give it to you?”
“It’s a friend of Ethan, Leopold said straightforwardly. “Kylie.”
Zola paused for a moment.
She stayed in a corner during the previous night’s birthday banquet, avoiding socializing with her grandfather, parents, and Ethan. However, she observed the entanglement between Ethan and Kylie. Over the years, although Ethan had been abroad. Zola knew about his love life inside out. There was never a woman around him, except… But the woman and Ethan hadn’t been together for so many years, and the chance of them getting together was slim.
“So, did Kylie make Ethan take his first step? Zola thought as she suddenly became a little interested in Kylie.
“If it’s okay, I’ll arrange the time and place.” Leopold said.
“Will you be there?” Zola added. For tonight’s dinner.”
Leopold looked at her and said slowly, “I can skip it.”
“Alright, let me know if it’s confirmed, Zola said.
“Okay” Leopold nodded.
Zola left. Leopold watched her back, his eyes darkening. He lowered his head and edited a message to Kylie, sending the agreed–upon time and address.
Kylie was somewhat surprised at Leopold’s efficiency. He had arranged it for her so quickly.
Actually, ever since he took her to the hospital, she felt that Leopold was a reliable person.
After thanking him, Kylie sent another message. [Can I visit the set?] She thought that for cooperation, sincerity was necessary.
[Sure. Zola finishes work before 4 p.m.] Leopold sent her the navigation address.
Checking the time, Kylie called the internal line and said, “Jordyn, order some high–end snacks from Velvet Bistro. Deliver them to the film crew of Their Prime before 3 p.m. Remember to say it’s on Zola, I’ve sent the address to your WhatsApp.”
“Okay,” Jordyn replied.

Kylie added. “Accompany me to the set for a visit at 2 p.m.”
“Yes,” Jordyn said.

After hanging up, Kylie immersed herself in work, ensuring that she finished the day’s tasks before heading out.
At 2 p.m.. Kylie, accompanied by Jordyn, went to the filming location in a more suburban part of Beliey.
Because it was a period drama, the set featured ancient architecture.
Guided by the staff, she found Leopold.
Leopold was sitting in front of the camera, directing the scene. Seeing Kylie, he nodded courteously and then focused on his work again.
Kylie didn’t disturb him. She sat nearby and observed the camera.
The current scene being shot was between Zola and the male lead, Algernon Tate. The actors were ready.
“Third scene, first shot, first take. Action!”
Algernon forcefully pressed Zola against the wall, and the two stared closely at each other.
Kylie was visiting the set for the first time and was genuinely impressed by how quickly the actors immersed themselves in their roles, especially Zola’s acting. She vividly portrayed the hidden struggles in
her eyes.
In the next moment, Algernon approached Zola’s lips. After a moment of internal struggle, Zola closed her eyes in acquiescence.
Tears rolled down from the corner of Zola’s eye. When their lips were about to touch, Zola suddenly turned her head, avoiding the kiss.
Both of them ended up acting..
“Cut!” Leopold called a stop.
“Sorry.” Zola wiped away her tears and apologized to the crew. Originally, the scene was meant to be a kiss. Apparently, she didn’t do well.
“Actors, take a break, Leopold said. “Let’s shoot the next scene first.”
Zola walked out of the studio. Her assistant quickly approached, handed her a cup of water, and asked with concern, “What’s wrong, Zola?”
“Nothing, just a bit out of focus,” Zola replied.
“It’s not easy to start with a kissing scene. After all, you’re not familiar with the other party. Only very few can do it well. Zola, do you want me to ask Delilah to talk to the director and put the kissing scene later?”

the assistant suggested.
“No need.” Zola said,
Usually, to help the lead actors get into character sooner, most crews would schedule kissing scenes early on. She also understood that familiarity had nothing to do with it. It was just a psychological effect.
“I’ll accompany you back to the resting room for a break, the assistant said.
Zola nodded. As she turned around, she saw someone familiar. Her eyes moved slightly. “Kylie?”
“Hello, Ms. Yvette.” Kylie took the initiative to shake hands. “You’re even more beautiful in person than on the screen.”
“Miss Stafford, it’s a pity you’re not an actress,” Zola said candidly, genuinely thinking Kylie was overly beautiful. Even each facial feature of Kylie matched her aesthetic sense perfectly. Ethan’s taste was indeed gril.
Kylie graciously said, “My acting skills are not good.”
Zola smiled. “Leopold said you want to discuss endorsement with me.”
“Let’s not delay your shoot. We can talk when you finish. Tonight at dinner, perhaps,” Kylie said.
“Sounds good,” Zola said. “By the way, I already made plans to have dinner with a friend tonight. Do you mind one more person?”
“Of course not, Kylie said.
“Did you order the snacks?” Zola asked.
“Yes.” Kylie nodded.
“Thanks.” Zola smiled.
“You’re welcome,” Kylie said.
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Zola left.
Kylie watched Zola’s retreating figure. She originally thought that dealing with Zola might not be so smooth. However, Zola turned out to be much more amiable than she had anticipated.
