Kylie said and left the conference room without looking back.
Robert did not expect that he, who was in his forties, would be threatened by a young lady in her twenties.
He quickly called Cohen to report the situation.
“Ignore her, and just do as I say.” Cohen did not care about Kylie’s threat at all. “If there’s anything. I’ll take care of it.
“Yes, Mr. Stafford.”
With an evil smile, Robert would like to see how long a mere Kylie could remain arrogant.
Kylie brought Jordyn directly to Galaxy Group’s production factory.
Robert said the workers were on strike.
Why did they suddenly go on strike for no reason?
The factory was in the suburbs of the city, and the journey was a little far.
It was already afternoon when Kylie arrived.
Kylie did not even eat lunch and went straight to see the factory director, Felix Langley.
Felix lacked any respect for Kylie. Without much thought, it was easy to figure out that Felix and Robert were colluding, and he was also under Cohen’s command.
“I heard the new chairman is very young, but I didn’t expect you to be this young!” Felix seemingly complimented Kylie, but it was full of sarcasm. “You look about the same age as my daughter, and she still only knows how to act coquettish in my arms, but you are so outstanding!”
Kylie pretended not to understand and said bluntly, “I heard from Robert that the workers in the factory are on strike. What’s going on?”
“What’s going on? It’s all because the salary isn’t enough!”
“From what I know, the wages provided by Galaxy Group to its workers are already at a market- competitive level, and the benefits are more advantageous compared to other factories.”
“Miss Stafford, but the urgency of these production tasks means that workers have to work overtime to complete them. However, there is no overtime pay. Who wouldn’t protest?”
Kylie’s eyes narrowed. No one had reported the situation of the factory to her at all, and for special circumstances, she could naturally handle them with special consideration.
It had to be said that she had been led by the nose by Cohen all along.

“Miss Stafford, do you have anything else to ask? If not, I’ll go do my work.” Felix left after saying that.
Kylie pursed her lips and was about to leave the factory with Jordyn.
Before Kylie could walk out of the door, she was suddenly trapped by a group of workers.
“You’re the new chairman of Galaxy Group, right? You’re exploiting us workers so much. Do you have any conscience at all? A leading worker questioned with a fierce demeanor. “If you don’t give us an explanation today, don’t even think about leaving here!”
“Do you think you can force us to leave just like that? Impossible! I’ve worked here for seven years. Don’t even think about sending us away just like that?”
“That’s right. You have to give us an explanation!”
Many people were talking all at once, surrounding Kylie and Jordyn tightly.
Jordyn shielded Kylie behind her, fearing that Kylie might face retaliation from this group of people.
“Calm down!” Kylie shouted. “After I understand the situation, I will naturally give you a reasonable explanation. I will not let any of you suffer a loss in Galaxy Group!”
“They’re all lying to us!” The leader of the workers jeered. “When she goes back, she won’t care about us at all. Everyone, we must not let her go!”
“You can’t leave. You’re not allowed to leave until this is resolved!”
Kylie didn’t expect the workers‘ strike to escalate to this point, and the underlying conflicts had been brewing for quite some time. If she hadn’t taken the initiative to inquire about the progress of the products, she might never have realized how serious the situation had become.
At this moment, in front of an office window on the second floor, Felix saw that Kylie was surrounded by workers. A sinister smile appeared on his lips. He quickly made a call and reported, “Mr. Stafford, Kylie has been stopped by workers. She shouldn’t be able to leave for a while.”
Cohen sat in the big office of the Stafford Group with a cigar in his mouth. He picked up the phone and said, “Teach Kylie a lesson.”
“Mr. Stafford, don’t worry. I know what to do.”
Cohen put down his phone and smiled smugly.

Kylie wanting to compete with Cohen was like using an egg to strike a rock.
“Dad, did Kylie really go to the factory?” Perla asked in surprise.
Unexpectedly, Kylie would dare to go alone to such a gathering of low–class people. Those people were uncivilized, lacked manners, and were downright barbaric. She deserved to be trapped and unable to

“Ignore her.” Cohen did not care about Kylie at all. “I called you here today because I have something to tell
you.
“Okay,” Perla had always been obedient in front of Cohen.
“The Moore family called me and said they want to announce your relationship with Sergio to the public, and also that you two are engaged. But I heard that you have been hesitating?”
Perla bit her lip lightly, feeling a little embarrassed.
“Are you hiding anything from me?”
“Dad, I really don’t want to announce my relationship with Sergio now.”
“What’s wrong? Haven’t you always liked him?”
“I do like him, but I’m more worried about our family’s situation…” Perla deliberately took a deep breath and made things clear. “Didn’t Kylie hook up with Ethan now? I believe you must have noticed Jason’s attitude toward me at that banquet, Dad.”
“Ethan couldn’t possibly be interested in her.” Cohen dismissed it outright. “Let alone Ethan, the Hayden family would never accept a woman with a scandalous reputation like Kylie.
“But I saw that Ethan genuinely likes Kylie.”
“Surely Kylie used some means to seduce Ethan. Men have little resistance to good–looking women. As a man, I understand it very well…” Cohen paused, feeling that it was somewhat inappropriate to say such things in front of his daughter, and changed his tone. “Anyway, Ethan’s interest in Kylie is just a novelty. Once the novelty wears off, Kylie will be discarded.”
“But no matter what, Kylie has a connection with Ethan, and now that Kylie is so against us, what if she makes Ethan go against the Stafford family?”
When Cohen heard Perla say this, he could not help but worry in his heart.

Of course, Cohen could not wait for Perla to do so. If the Stafford family could hook up with the Hayden family, no one in Belicy would dare to give Cohen a hard time anymore.
“So, how do you plan to handle the relationship with the Moore family?” Cohen asked.
“We can’t afford to break things with the Moore family for now, so Dad, I’ll need you to figure out how to handle the Moore family. If I can be with Ethan, we naturally won’t have to care about the Moore family. But if I fail, the Moore family can still be a support for our family.”
Cohen thought for a moment and was overjoyed. “Alright. I’ll deal with the Moore family. Go after Ethan with all your might. If you need my help, feel free to let me know.”
“Thank you, Dad.” Perla smiled obediently.
Perla believed that she could also seduce someone who Kylie could seduce.
