After placing Zola on the bed in her room, Leopold did not leave immediately.
Leopold lowered his eyes and looked at her flushed face and red lips
Suddenly, in Leopold’s mind, the scene of Zola filming a kissing scene today flashed vividly.

Through the time spent with Zola yesterday, Kylie didn’t think Zola would be someone who went back on her word. However, because of Ethan’s assistance, this endorsement deal came a bit too smoothly, making Kylie feel somewhat uneasy instead of reassured.
After signing the contract, Kylie finally felt relieved.
“Before the official announcement, keep it a secret for now.” Kylie reminded Jordyn.
Naturally, Kylie also reached an agreement with Zola’s agent.

Kylie suddenly remembered that most of the people in the entire corporation were still in Cohen’s hands, which truly left her feeling helpless.
Because of health reasons, Kylie got off work early today.
When Kylie got home, she ordered takeout and ate it. Then, she took a shower and lay on the bed.
She habitually played with her phone before going to sleep. However, as Kylie picked it up, she stared into space, lost in thought.
Kylie opened WhatsApp.
Today, there were no messages from Ethan.
It could be fine.
No beginning meant no end.
They went their separate
ways.
Kylie put down her phone and fell asleep.
She slept soundly.
It was as if she was still in a dream, but also as if she had been awakened by a series of doorbells.
Kylie opened her eyes and looked out the window at the darkness. The entire city was abnormally quiet.

She glanced blearily at her phone.

Kylie quickly got up and walked to the door.

“I understand,” Kylie responded indifferently. She looked at Ethan, who appeared visibly exhausted, and continued in a casual tone, “You could have just called me. There was no need to come all the way in the middle of the night.”
“I thought your phone was broken.”
Evidently, Ethan was accusing her of not responding to his messages.
“I’ve been very busy these few days,” Kylie found an excuse to brush it off.
“Kylic…”
“It’s late. Go back.” Kylie interrupted Ethan directly. “I have to work tomorrow.”
Ethan swallowed the words that were on the tip of his tongue.

With that, Kylie closed the door.
Ethan got the cold shoulder.
He just stared at the closed door in front of him.
As expected, it was not an illusion.
Kylie was deliberately avoiding him now.

Many women would love to have Ethan stay overnight, eager to strip down and crawl into his bed.
Derick quickly returned to Ethan and respectfully opened the car door for him.
Ethan glanced at Derick.
Derick’s heart trembled.
Derick had a bad feeling.
He didn’t know what Ethan was up to, and he was feeling very nervous.
“Give me your phone and wallet,” Ethan ordered.
Derick handed over his phone and wallet with trembling hands.

“Let’s go!”
The car left.
Derick was left alone on the road at three in the morning. As he watched the car drive away, he felt like
crying.
For the next month or so, Kylie was fully immersed in the release of the new products in the fall.
However, because the company was controlled by Cohen, not to mention anything else, even the production of the product was severely delayed.
“What went wrong?” In the conference room, Kylie questioned the manager of the production department, Robert Taylor, with a cold expression.

“So can you handle it well, Mr. Taylor?”

“Since you’re a manager, then you should do your job properly. If this production cannot be delivered on time, all the losses incurred by the group will be squarely on your shoulders, Mr. Taylor!” Kylie asserted with a strong presence. “Mr. Taylor, you better think carefully whether you have the ability to bear this responsibility!”
Robert’s face blushed from Kylie’s words!
