Chapter 486
He called Kylie, but she didn’t pick up.
Growing increasingly anxious, he continued to dial her number one after another.
At that moment, he even got up, ready to go out and find her.
Then Kylie’s phone rang back.
Ethan hastily answered, “Why didn’t you pick up the phone?”
His voice was noticeably urgent.
“Are you worried about me?” Kylie’s voice, on the contrary, remained calm and composed.
“I’m bored alone.” Ethan came up with a casual excuse.
“So, you miss me.”
“Kylie, have you had enough fun? Do you realize we’re leaving here in a few hours?”
“Come out,” Kylie interrupted him.
Ethan frowned. “What?”
“Come out.”
Kylie repeated before hanging up the phone.
Suppressing his annoyance, Ethan walked straight out of the villa.
Outside the villa, the wooden fence corridor suddenly lit up.
It was six o’clock, and the sky hadn’t fully darkened yet, but the unexpected romance wasn’t hindered.
He followed the direction of the lights.
Not far away on the beach, there was an outdoor dining table surrounded by a circle of lights, emitting a beautiful glow. I table was adorned with flowers and candles, and the sand around it was strewn with pink rose petals. When the sea breeze blew, the petals danced gracefully.
Ethan halted in front of the table.
He didn’t see Kylie anywhere.
Was Kylie’s disappearance this afternoon all about arranging tonight’s dinner?
“Ethan.”
Behind him, a familiar voice suddenly rang out.
Her crisp and sweet voice, like a soothing melody, reverberated in his heart.
Ethan turned to see Kylie standing not far away.
She was wearing a white evening gown.

The delicate straps revealed her beautiful collarbone and overly sensual shoulders in the night.
Her exquisite face and well-proportioned figure were breathtakingly beautiful.
She was like a fairy.
Ethan’s restrained Adam’s apple involuntarily rolled twice.
“Do I look good?” Kylie asked him.
She had spent the whole afternoon dressing up, behind his back.
“You look beautiful,” Ethan replied, but his gaze shifted.
He clearly couldn’t stare too much, or he wouldn’t be able to control himself.
“Aren’t you coming over to hug me?” Kylie asked again.
“Kylie…”
“I can’t come over, my leg hurts,” Kylie explained just when Ethan was about to explode in frustration.
Every time, she seemed to have a reasonable excuse that forced him to approach her.
Ethan walked toward Kylie.
She smiled gracefully at him.
At that moment, Ethan suddenly seemed to understand why beautiful women had such a deadly allure.
“What are you thinking?” Kylie frowned at him.
Ethan chuckled.
Kylie was indeed sensitive.
He bent down and lifted her up.
Kylie naturally draped her slender arm around his neck.
The next moment, as Ethan turned his head, Kylie’s lip print landed on his face.
The ambush failed.
Ethan couldn’t fall for the same trick twice.
She had kissed him like this in the afternoon.
It wouldn’t work again tonight.
Ethan placed Kylie beside the dining table.
Meanwhile, the waiter brought out their dinner.
The two of them quietly ate their respective portions.
Kylie raised her glass of red wine.

Chapter 486
Ethan picked up his glass and clinked it with hers.
The crisp sound blended into the beautiful scenery of sea and sky.
Kylie took a sip.
“Ethan, don’t you have any impression of this?” she said.
“None,” he replied.
“It’s okay.” Kylie chuckled lightly.
Her smile was tinged with sadness.
Ethan shifted his gaze, looking at the vast sea beside them, where the waves danced…
As the night deepened, the candlelight and the lights intertwined, making the surroundings even more romantic.
Suddenly, a melodious and graceful music melody rang out.
In the corner, the beautiful sound of a violin emanated.
Kylie stood up from her chair.
Ethan watched her movements closely.
She took slow, difficult steps toward him, extending her small hand. “Would you grace me with a dance?” she asked.
Ethan looked her up and down. “Ar
you sure you can dance like this?”
“Of course,” Kylie replied confidently.
With a hint of resignation, Ethan stood up.
He walked over to Kylie.
She naturally wrapped her arms around his neck.
Kylie seemed to enjoy holding him like this, and he didn’t mind…
He gently held Kylie’s slender waist, barely grasping it, afraid of hurting her leg.
At that moment, he watched as Kylie carefully took off her shoes and then placed her foot on Ethan’s shoe.
Ethan chuckled helplessly.
Kylie was indeed clever.
Sensing Kylie’s stability, Ethan embraced her body, swaying gently to the melodious music.
The sea breeze lightly brushed against their cheeks.
Everything seemed to be asleep, except for their irregular, wildly beating hearts.
As one song ended, another began.
They seemed tireless, dancing to the rhythm.

Chapter 486
“Kylie.” Ethan’s voice was low and magnetic.
“Yeah?”
“It’s time to go back.” Ethan reminded her.
Kylie’s hand, wrapped around Ethan’s neck, tightened noticeably.
She didn’t want him to leave.
“Do you really have to go back?” she asked.
“I have to go back,” Ethan said firmly.
“You like me, don’t you?” Kylie asked him.
Even though he couldn’t remember anything, she could feel his heart.
But Ethan didn’t admit it.
“You won’t stay?” Kylie looked at him seriously, her eyes filled with longing.
“I can’t.”

“Whatever it is, I’ll face it with you.” Kylie didn’t want to give up and didn’t want him to give up. “It’s just Tess’s suicide, right? We’ll face the condemnation of the world and the oppression of the Ford family together.”
“Tess is my lifesaver. I can’t stand by and watch her be pushed to her death.”
“What if I force you to?” Kylie asked, tears shimmering in her eyes.
She didn’t want to cry, but she couldn’t control it.
She didn’t want to be so despicable, but she couldn’t bring herself to let Ethan go.
“You wouldn’t.”
“But what if?” Kylie laughed through her tears.
Ethan looked at her in silence.
“I have depression. After your accident, for three or four years, I’ve thought about suicide more than once. Maybe losing you again would really make me lose any attachment to this world,” Kylie said quietly.
She wasn’t lying to him.
She really wasn’t.
Ethan lightly pursed his lips, unconsciously tightening his grip around her body.
“I’m not Ethan. Ethan denied his identity. “The Ethan you like has long been dead…”
Kylie released Ethan’s neck.
Ethan watched her struggle to move away from him, step by step, growing further and further apart…
