“Go sit over there and wait for me,” Ethan murmured.
“I want to be with you.” Kylie hugged him tighter around the waist.
“This is affecting my cooking,” Ethan remarked.

“Be obedient.” Ethan gently pried her arms off his waist.
Reluctantly, Kylie released her hold on Ethan and walked away, visibly unhappy.
She struggled to settle back into her high chair.

“See. You’re getting defensive,” Kylie said firmly.
“Kylie,” Ethan looked at her speechlessly.

“Did you touch me last night?” Kylie’s lips curved up.
Ethan lowered his head.
Observing closely, Kylie would notice that his ears turned red.
“Ethan, aren’t you afraid of regrets?” Kylie asked him earnestly.
In fact, his physical reaction was more evident than hers.
So she was well aware of his needs.

Ethan went back to his room.
Kylie stared at the closed door, pursing her lips.

Kylie got up, limping out of the villa’s living room.

Frowning, he instinctively went upstairs.
After a fruitless search, he went outside and even checked the beach, but Kylie was nowhere to be found.
Ethan couldn’t hide his anxiety as he dialed Kylie’s number.
“Hello?” Kylie answered.
As soon as Kylie answered, Ethan let out a huge sigh of relief, though he didn’t realize it himself.
“Where did you go?” Ethan asked.
“I just went out for some fresh air,” Kylie replied.
“Where?”
“I’m not telling you.”
“Kylie, have you forgotten why you’re here these past few days?” Ethan restrained his anger.
“I know exactly why, which is why I want to stay away from you.”
“Where are you?” Ethan didn’t want to waste time with Kylie anymore, asking once again.
“I’ll be back later,” Kylie replied.
“Kylie…”
Kylie had already hung up the phone.
Ethan tightened his grip on the phone.
Was she just throwing a tantrum?
No one knew how much harder it was for him than for her.
