Chapter 15
“Let’s start the interrogation, yes?” Anastasia asked before she pulled the dagger out of her pocket and flattened Carl’s left hand on the armrest. She picked up the remote from the counter and played loud music to prevent any noise from going out of the room and alert the neighbors. Since the neighborhood was well populated with wolves, even muffled voices could alert them and getting K into a questioning position was the last thing on her mind..
“Let’s not make too much noise. We don’t want others to hear your screams, right?” Anastasia looked at the guy, and without warning, she raised her hand and swung it down, stabbing the back of Carl’s hand. The blood splashed on her face, making her sigh as Carl’s eyes went wide with pain and horror.
“Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Mmmmm,” Carl screamed in agony, the cloth inside his mouth muffling his voice as tears welled in his eyes.
He struggled against the ropes and chains, trying his best to jerk his hand. out of the chains or break the chair he was tied to, and Anastasia tutted. “You won’t be able to free yourself from these chains or ropes. So quit trying,” She smiled evilly.
She might not be strong enough to capture a guy like Carl alone, but she surely learned how to torture someone.
“I started directly from the main course because I know I’ll ask a question, and then you’ll probably spout some kind of bullshit like you can’t betray your leader, and you will rather die but not tell me anything. We all know that’s complete bullsh*t, and you will give up eventually. I don’t have that much time on my hands. So let’s just get straight to the point,” Anastasia leaned back in her chair, wiping her hand on the wet towel before she wrapped a cloth on his hand messily.
“Where is the rogue head situated now?” Anastasia asked before she leaned forward and took off the cloth that was gagging his mouth.
She raised her brows, urging him to continue speaking, and the man gulped, biting the inside of his cheeks to contain the pain he was feeling. He didn’t want to speak but knew he didn’t have a way out. The girl in front of him wasn’t in the mood to play, not to mention the two guys
who captured him were powerful and wouldn’t let him run. The chains with the wolfsbane they fed him made him and his wolf weak too.
“In Greenland forests,” Carl said.
Anastasia smiled coldly, suppressing the urge to scoff.
“Does it say idiot on my forehead? Greenland forest? We are talking about a place as big as almost a state. You want me to go and look for him there because he will be waiting for me with flowers in my path. How chivalrous!” Anastasia leaned forward, grabbing his jaws in her hand in a tight grip as she forced him to look at her.
“I want his exact location.” Anastasia asked, her tone dead serious.
“If you go there and ask about his whereabouts, taking my name, the people around will take you to the location themselves,” Carl answered.
She left his jaws and leaned back in her place, observing him.
“How did you get caught, by the way? As far as I had heard, the rogue head’s right–hand team was quite powerful and intelligent. Or was it just a myth to hide how big of a wuss you are?” Anastasia mocked him, and Carl struggled against the chains.
“Free me from here, and I’ll show you how powerful and intelligent I am when I slam you into that wall, tear your clothes, and take you mercilessly. You will see my power when I’m deep inside you, and you’ll be screaming my name, begging me to stop, you b*tch!” Carl smirked through his pain, and Anastasia rolled her eyes.
This wasn’t the first time someone was making such threats to her. That was the life of a female rogue. From the moment she has exited her pack, things have been like this.
Every time she faced a group of rogues, no one ever asked her how skilful she was or what kind of capabilities she had to make her a part of the group.
Instead, their questions revolved around how well she would take them, how well she could spread her legs for them, and how many she could. take in a single go.
That was the kind of question every female rogue has to go through when they are in the wild.
So Carl’s words didn’t surprise her..
The nerve of this guy! How dare he disrespect us!‘ Dione raged, almost growling, and Anastasia narrowed her eyes.
Her wolf had been acting quite weird today since earlier. In fact,
started to act weirdly from the moment she met Alpha Kaiden. Was there something happening that she didn’t have an idea about? She never gets angry so easily. Or was it because of what she said earlier? Anastasia’s brows furrowed.
‘Calm down, girl. It’s not like you are hearing someone say this to me for the first time, Anastasia sighed.
“I hadn’t expected anything better from a low life like
you. Scums like you think that women only know how to spread our legs when we actually know how to spread men’s legs too,” Anastasia smiled before she stabbed his thighs, making him scream in pain.
The splash of blood tainted her shirt this time, and she groaned in
annoyance.
This was the second time this week alone.
Heck, she can’t afford to waste clothes like this! She sighed when she looked at the blood dripping on the floor.
However, the smile on her face soon froze when she realized what was happening. She liked the scent of blood. She wanted to bathe in it. And the thought alone only meant one thing It was Dione using her senses. through her to smell the blood.
“Now, now, you can’t blame me on this one. I was actually having a
decent conversation. It was you who provoked me first,” Anastasia tried to keep her cool when her mind was becoming a mess due to Dione’s weird behaviour.
“Since you were his right–hand man, you should be able to answer this one honestly. Tell me if your rogue head would be able to help me with at revenge plan. Like, I want an alpha dead. Will he help me with that?” Anastasia asked, and Carl scoffed.
“Help you in the revenge plan? Who do you think the rogue head is? Your lap dog?” Carl said, already angry because of her earlier actions.
Anastasia sighed.
‘Dione, what are you doing?‘ Anastasia asked her wolf when she saw her getting restless and roaming around.
Anastasia’s wolf didn’t like the tone this lowlife rogue was using on them, and she closed her eyes before taking over Anastasia in a moment of anger.
Anastasia, who didn’t expect that she would be pushed into the back of her mind after such a long time and that her wolf would take over out of nowhere, widened her eyes.
“Dione!” Anastasia screamed at the wolf.
‘What the hell? What the heck was wrong with her wolf?” Anastasia wondered. Dione never listened to her, but today, out of the blue, she wanted to show herself to the world when they were in such a dangerous. environment.
“Dione? Have you lost your mind? Please come back. What if some other rogue or alpha catches your powerful presence?” Anastasia pleaded helplessly, but Dione wasn’t listening today.
- me. It
“Anastasia, you always complain about why I don’t come out. And I know you just do it to take out your frustration when in reality you want to protect me from the world. You shouldn’t be the one protecting should be me protecting you instead. So from today onwards, I mark my presence in this world,” Dione said before she looked at Carl, who was too shocked to speak or react.
Carl’s eyes widened.
He couldn’t believe his eyes. If his hands hadn’t been tied, he would’ve surely rubbed him again to see if what he was seeing was real.
In front of him, a large silver wolf was standing.
It was already a miracle that he got to see the rarest fur of a wolf in silver color, but this wolf has wings too?
He has heard and read about too many rare wolves and their fur color. Some people have a passion for collecting different kinds of things, and just like that, his boss had a passion for collecting rare wolves‘ fur. He loved collecting them and placing them in his office for happiness.
Thus, Carl has seen many kinds of wolves, but one with wings? This was the first time he had seen something like this. Wasn’t this something they taught in history books?
Anastasia felt helpless. She didn’t know why her wolf was acting so rouge today.
Meanwhile, Alpha Kaiden, who was driving around the blocks to see if he could find Anastasia or feel her presence anywhere, slammed his foot on the brakes when he felt a weird presence around the neighborhood.
No. This wasn’t just any random weird presence. I
and rare power. Was there someone of that power he knew?
Of course not. Kaiden hurriedly stepped down from the car and ran in the direction from where he saw the power radiating off from.
