For a few moments, Anastasia couldn’t deny it. She hated it. She hated. that she was letting Alpha Kaiden overpower her like this, but it didn’t change the fact that she indeed liked it.

“Alpha Kaiden, I don’t know what kind of fucked up mindset you have, but unlike you, who is killing rogues without a goal and has almost everything under control, I have to work hard for mine. So you better not interfere with it,” Anastasia sighed, placing her hand on her face to block the light from the ceiling.
“It’s not possible between us, even if you think of it as a joke. I will never allow another alpha to degrade or tame me, even if I have to die protecting myself. That’s my answer to your marriage proposal too,” Anastasia looked into his eyes, more like glared, before she stood up and walked out of the room, slamming the door behind her.
Alpha Kaiden looked at the closed door and hummed loudly. If this girl thought he would let go of her just because she said she had a goal, it was her delusion.
It looks like he will have to work a bit harder now. He can’t have a mate. And without Luna and his heir, his pack will eventually succumb to nothingness.
He has been looking for a cure for many years but hasn’t found anything. What if she is the cure? Kaiden smiled thoughtfully.
‘Are you thinking what I am thinking?‘ Atlas asked through the mind link, and Kaiden quirked his brows.
“We have to make a trip to the council and find out more about her and the pack who betrayed her and she wants to destroy and then find a helpful witch to ask her what is Sia’s connection with this curse and why she is the only exception?” Kaiden asked, and Atlas sighed before shaking his head.
‘Of course not. Those are the things you need to care for. I am thinking about how beautiful and full her ass felt in our hands,” Atlas commented dreamily, and Kaiden clenched his teeth before taking a deep breath. Of course, that was the most important thing for his wolf. He rolled his eyes, not refuting his words since that was true indeed.
