I wrapped my arms around my wife as I pushed myself inside her. knowing that for her to trust me to do this, I was going to have to cherish every single moment of it. And it was something that I wanted her to cherish and remember until the end of time.
The memory of me rejecting and resenting her was something that I couldn’t forget no matter how much I wanted to. I broke her heart back then and I was honestly regretting every second of it. This was one memory that I wanted her to forget, a memory that broke her heart and pride as a woman. The pain that I saw in her eyes that night was one that I couldn’t forget. Regardless of the arguments that the two of us have had before. That one was by far the worst one of them. If anything, the anger that she felt that night was seen through her eyes without the need of her speaking.
I resented her for Anastasia, and though she was well aware of it, she didn’t hit me in the face with that fact, and instead, she chose to be as patient as a cat as she waited for me to accept her as a wife. And that was something that I was going to cherish and value until the end of time. it was something that I, as her husband, wouldn’t have done for her. If anything. I would have chose to leave her until we were able to file for a divorce: however, now I was actually fearing that she would one day think of it. That was something that I didn’t want her thinking of.
Her eyes widened in surprise as I stretched her. This being her first time, I knew to be as gentle as I could be. At least, this would assure her that Anastasia, regardless of what I was feeling toward her, was now history for

and that was something that Anastasia played on. The dream that the two of us had a long time ago. It was one of the things that had me resenting even my wife later as I feared that she could do the same thing. If Anastasia did it, and the two of us were lovers, what was to stop a woman who I have hurt to do so. However, getting to know Katerina, I regretted every second spent fighting her for Anastasia. It was my greatest regret and pain toward her as a woman. MY woman.
“It hurts.” Katerina said, closing her eyes as she fought her tears. I kissed her forehead, nose, cheeks, then lips, trying to distract her from the pain. The last thing I wanted was for her to get hurt. But I wasn’t stupid, I knew that being her first experience, it was going to hurt her more than I wanted

“I know, malyshka, hold on for me, just a little longer.” I said, my voice. lowering to above a whisper. I stopped completely, not wanting to hurt her more than I already was. I studied her expression for a second before pulling out of her and pushing back inside. She closed her eyes as a cry of pain escaped her lips. I ran my fingers over hers, and giving her a gentle squeeze, I pulled out of her completely before thrusting back inside her at a stable, sloppy, yet somewhat aggressive pace. She closed her eyes as she removed her hand from mine and wrapped it around my shoulder, squeezing my back. She dug her nails in my back, but I didn’t really care.

grew heavy as I could tell that she was fighting to keep them open. The two of us still had time for her to rest for a bit before she needed to get ready, and I knew that the planners wouldn’t really need her presence. Each one of them knew what to do.
I laid by her side and pulled her to my chest, hugging her tightly, smiling when she closed her eyes. She tightened her legs over one another, clearly feeling discomfort between them as the soreness kicked in. She didn’t say anything about it though, and I couldn’t help but worry if I had done at mistake by not listening to her about my timing. But I knew for fact that she needed this. Her confidence was going to grow a thousand more times. when she faced Anastasia today. At least she wouldn’t feel like she was any less of a wife.
Her limping was not going to be something for her to be embarrassed of. If anything, the two of us were going to be proud of it. I, as her husband, would be proud of it. The other men had married into families that couldn’t care less whether their wives were untouched or not, and knowing most of the women and their pasts, I knew that they weren’t as true as my wife was. And this was not me judging them. But I knew what they did to get to where they were in ranks, place, or even monetary wise, and most of them didn’t even need to do so. They just wanted a shortcut.
“How about we get some rest and then we can start getting ready?” I asked, my tone softening as I ran my fingers down her body, gently massaging it. She sighed and nodded, her eyes meeting mine for a second before she raised herself to kiss me. Her kiss was more gentle than her other ones were, though she was more confident now, knowing that the two of us were not only a husband and wife on paper. This sealed our marriage deal, making it turn into a real one.
“What about the gathering’s preparations? What if they make a mistake? Or…?”
“They are planners and chefs for a reason, baby.” I said, stopping her. “It is your duty to be well rested, but it is theirs to take care of such things. Therefore, please don’t worry yourself too much about it.”

“But, Nikolay, the last thing I want is for them…”
“They will not do anything.” I said, stopping her from panicking. “They will only do what you asked, and if there is anything to check on last. minute, we can do so. It is barely one in the afternoon and people won’t start coming till nightfall.”
“But…”
“No buts.” I said, smiling at my beauty whose eyes softened. “You have done your part, and now it is time for them to do theirs. What I want right now is for the two of us to get some sleep, okay?”
