Zoe’s body went limp as she gave in to the temptations. A strong sense of vulnerability washed over her. So, she tried to get up, but he held her down gently. Leaning in her ear, he tilted his head, kissed her teary eyes, and spoke in a husky voice.

Lisa was shaking with fury. “Are you doing this to spite me? I took care of her for your sake! Furthermore, need I remind you that Zoe is your wife? Aren’t you trying to change her mind and make her come back to you? Does she know about what you did?”
